If the Iron Man suit had nipples you'd at least be sure they did something awesome, like shoot lasers or create a force field.

The Iron Man media blitz is about to start with the Super Bowl:

Paramount Pictures is using its ad spending to promote the May release of superhero film "Iron Man." People who watch the game on TV will see a commercial for the movie. People who visit any of the major online Super Bowl ad polls will also see the spot. Visitors to MySpace can see an Iron Man profile on the site. And if people search for terms related to Iron Man on Google, it will turn up there as well. On ESPN.com, ads will show the TV spot and prompt visitors to go to the "Iron Man" Web site to register for downloads and giveaways.

Marvel.com will tease the spot on February 1, and following its TV debut at approximately 4:30 p.m. PST, the ad will be available on Apple.com, Marvel.com, and the official Iron Man website at IronManmovie.com. Additional sites, including Yahoo Sports! and ESPN.com, will carry the ad the following day.

Of course the director put himself in the movie. I can't complain because I would have done it too.

Guess who

Hollywood still thinks every movie needs a love story. This is the girl in this one.

This picture to me shows perfectly Tony Stark's personality outside the armor.

Jeff Bridges is almost unrecognizable as Obadiah Stone.

Ain't It Cool News reports that new footage from Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk was revealed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany (Spoilers ahead!):

For IRON MAN we saw the scene in which Tony Stark tests his Iron Man suit for the first time (in his garage). Of course this almost goes wrong. He speeds into a tunnel, gets out in the open and flies past a Ferris wheel. A malfunction in his suit makes him go higher and higher, almost leaving the stratosphere and running out of air. Then the suit goes completely dead and Stark falls to the earth. Just in time he manages to get his suit working again, making a mess of the traffic in the streets...
