Gareth
After getting the Master's approval, I will be stepping into his shoes, so to speak, to produce several more Favorite / Best polls. Starting with Fincher, what a great director, I'll have to think about this one. If you are new to the concept, first choose your favorite David Fincher film, then his best. SuaveStar
Fight Club for both. Of the films I've seen: Alien 3 is good, but flawed,The Game and Seven are very good. Panic Room is average at best, and The Curious Case is alright, but very overrated.
Dread
My favourite is Zodiac. I love how the case dictates the plot, not the characters. It's about as close to reality that a true crime film gets. Love it. I seriously doubt that he will ever produce something as technically proficient and highly regarded as Fight Club. The amazing intricacy of that film combined with (what nobody talks about) some of the best special effects in the history of film makes it easily his best. Stavros
My favourite is Fight Club, the best is a footrace between Social Network and Zodiac. Tossed a coin and went social network.

Koete
My favorite is Zodiac; completely engrossing, great cast, and, as Des said, one of the best films based on true events. I like The Social Network a lot, but I think Fight Club is Fincher at his most cinematic and his most layered work.
