  1. Seconded. Absofragginglutely. Kept me riveted to the screen for the entire run time. No film has done that in a long time, including Avengers.
  2. I saw it last night in IMAX and 3D. For the first time in a looooong time, I was glued to the screen from the moment the film started to the end credits rolling. I didn't get fidgety, start wondering what the time was or how long the film had left. Even Avengers didn't do that for me. Idris Elba was, as always, amazing. "One. Don't ever touch me. And two, don't ever touch me." Our Hero was really just a slab of meat, but that didn't matter. A+. Possibly A++.
  3. I'll see you a Fringe and raise you a The Following. Fringe got renewed because it was an Abrams show. The Following was awful, so of course it got renewed.
  4. It's on Fox. It will get cancelled after two or three episodes, maybe a season.
  5. I was already planning on waiting for it to come out on a movie channel. Now, I think I might just skip it then, too...
  6. That's not the news that made me go 'oooooh' from that article. Paul Cornell and Alan Davis on one comic?! Even if it is a Wolverine title..
  7. Greek Mythology is a soap opera. 99.9% of all the problems are caused by the fact that Zeus can't keep it in his pants. Well, maybe 99.5..
  8. That's about when I would have expected it.
  9. You have more faith in Warners or DC then. I can see them do exactly that in order to continue with the dark, gritty and realistic theme.
  10. That.. looks utterly and totally awesome. This goes on my 'must-see-or-my-life-is-meaningless' list.
  11. I must see this movie or my life will be forever incomplete and meaningless.
  12. Christopher Reeve and Richard Donner's Superman. And to a lesser extent Superman II. These - to me - are the Gold Standard. EDIT: And to a lesser extent, the feel and attitude of the Animated Series. So you were after something more like Superman Returns? Yes. Only better.

  14. I finally managed to see it last night, in a tiny 100 seater cinema with four other people there. It was a big, dumb, loud, action-filled, generic superhero movie, a lot like Avengers. That just happened to have someone calling themselves Superman. It was NOT a Superman movie. Enjoyable but forgettable. Now, when are Pacific Rim and Machete Kills out?
  15. What rumors? Please tell me that they say he might be voicing Rocket...
  16. Nah. Its gotta be Jason Statham as the voice of Rocket Racoon. Or Vin Diesel.
  17. Yes, no one should be without their towel. How else are you going to survive an attack by the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal? My list? 1) The aforementioned towel. 2) A trowel. 3) A change of clothes, especially underwear. 4) Running Shoes
  18. I'm done. The trailers have basically burned any interest in this movie out of me. One would raise my hopes and then next one would dash them. Now, I just want to see the damn thing just to get it over and done with.
  19. We hatesssss them, preciousssss! No! We loves them! Nassssty dissssturbing thingsss... Lovely they are, beautiful..
  20. Yeah. I've given in and I'm now stoked for this. I know I'll probably be disappointed but I don't care anymore.
  21. The question was asked by Doctor Simian/Mr G. Intelligence. And was answered by River, who no one could hear. So silence did fall.
  22. Apparently they could announce Twelve as early as next month
