This year IS Spidey's 60th anniversary...
What he said. I'd like to put my hat in the ring for that one as well (though if it doesn't include Spiderverse, I'll be very cross ).

The Pixar films. Like the MCU edition, it would involve a lot of prep and result in a long-ass episode, but there's a wide range of genres and quality among them. I don't plan to cover them on POYW since they and the animated Disney canon are very different beasts.

Decided to actually log back into Flickchart for the first time in a few years, re-rank the first five films covered on Part of Your World, and here some of the match-ups I wound up with:
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs vs. Pinocchio
Pinocchio vs. The Fugitive
Fantasia vs. Jurassic Park
Dumbo vs. Logan
Bambi vs. Dirty Dancing

This is the now the last film to be covered on this podcast, though by the time we get there, there'll probably be a few more:

Absolutely. I've never heard of there being a racial furore for the animated Aladdin movie (moreso the live action film having a white guy involved), but Mulan's a good shout. Also the gypsies in Hunchback of Notre Dame and whether the film got the balance right. And if you think Hercules looks Greek in the slightest....
Seconded. There are more instances of racism in the package films but Peter Pan will definitely be a big milestone in that discussion.

Great episode gents! Can’t really comment on the films themselves since I’ve seen less than half of them and in each case it was ages ago, but The Killing and Paths of Glory both sound really interesting.
I love that
Spoileryou reached your top fives before getting to discuss more than a few films in proper detail and that none of you had the same favorite.

Paddington. The sequel is even better but the first one's still heartwarming and occasionally hilarious. I nearly died laughing from this moment (0:14-0:43):

Just to clarify, when alluding to Guinan's role, was Dan referring to this unfortunate trope?:

What the fuck is up with Figaro's face?
I know they often refine or correct CGI between the release of a teaser and a movie but how hard is it to create a life-like cat face or use an actual cat?

E.T. or Firestarter for her early career, maybe Charlie’s Angels or 50 First Dates for her later career, but if there was one I’d beg you to do, it would be Ever After.

Can’t comment on Paths but Muppet Treasure Island > Titanic. If nothing else, it has Tim Curry, superb songs, and a more believable romance and death than Titanic.

He hasn't made any stupid noises about it...yet.

So this is actually happening:
Ian: Wanna get James Cameron out of the way on Flickchart Forum before this becomes required viewing for it?

The clips I've seen were really funny.
This is the best post I've seen.😆 Mild NSFW warning.

Ncuti Gatwa is the Doctor!
He’s amazing in Sex Education so I’m very pleased with this casting.

Btw, a correction from a point I made about consequences for Disney villains: Cruella actually doesn’t get arrested (at least onscreen) by the end of the original film (though she does in the live-action remake and in the original’s direct-to-video sequel). Her Devilmobile is completely wrecked though.

Great review gents! I was looking forward to this one and have already listened to it twice.
SpoilerAs for the Cossack vs Davy Crockett debate, Ian and Dave were both wrong (though Dave is geographically closer): Gordon is dressed as a coureur des bois.

Similarly, I suggested this to Ian the other day:
Paul Darrow plays the Sheriff of Nottingham.

My understanding is that this wasn't the only time. There's talk of Stallone ghost-directing Cobra as well. Funny enough, I just rewatched Leviathan last night as it's gone from Tubi in a couple days. Great little Alien/Aliens ripoff from George Cosmatos.
I could have also said Trent Haaga's Citizen Toxie but basically no one would know what I was talking about.
Edit: here it is:
"At one point during filming, Sylvester Stallone complained to cinematographer Ric Waite that they were falling behind, and said he and his crew needed to work harder. Waite responded by saying that if Stallone "gets his hands off Brigitte Nielsen's ass and stops showing off to his bodyguards, maybe they wouldn't have problems with time". Stallone was shocked that somebody would talk to him that way, but he toned down his ego for a few weeks. In an interview, Waite also said that Stallone had a great sense of humor, despite his huge ego. He also confirmed a rumor that Stallone was the true director of the film, calling credited director George P. Cosmatos a good producer, but a bad director."

-George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead (come on!)
In my defense, I've not seen it. I'll get to it eventually.

[checks Wikipedia] Good choice, if that's true.

None. I don’t think he has quite enough screen time in any of them to warrant covering them too (not even Civil War and especially not Endgame). Plus, even if only one was reviewed alongside the other nine, nearly a third of the films being covered would be repeats from the MCU episode.
