I never said that they're identical, this Green Arrow does seem to have a dark tone to it that reminds me of the one from Smallville.

I do appreciate the warning.

Hey, someone had to write "Girl from Inpanema."A thought occured to me at work today: there is a person out there who's job is to compose and perform the music that plays when you get put on hold.

I think I just went blind from horror with the combination of his name and the word "fap." Now I can barely type. Se wat yu did tu me?But he's EDWURD. He's their fap fantasy, they don't care what he thinks of them.

Is it just me, or does this pass more than a passing resemblance to the Green Arrow we saw from Smallville?

This.I'm sorry, I can't hear you because this trailer melted my face off with awesome.

I'm getting really tired of the murderer being included in the death count of these awful events.

Honestly, I got images of X-Men Evolution in my head from that.

I think that's something they'll have to be able to do in a JLA movie. If they don't do the kind of setup Marvel did, it'll be a bigger challenge to pull off. Don't get me wrong, I want a JLA movei, but I also want a good one.Just judging from my friends, some people are going to have problems working things out in their heads. I say a Justice League movie is in the works, and you get all sorts of questions about which Batman, which Superman, ect are in this movie and where it fits into everything. The solo Marvel films did introduce the film audience to these characters, but they also built a very clear and simple to understand world for the Avengers movie to exist.

The movie was really creepy, and completely at odds with the feel of the original. On the other hand, it had a lot of dark elements to it that were in the original Oz book written by L. Frank Baum. It's an interesting conrast on that basis alone.

I can't read any of these other posts without thinking about that "Avengers envy" comment some time back. Unless they can at least reach the scope and quality of that film, a JLA movie runs a great risk of being a mess.

I have an aunt who's in her 80's who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. She's just gone through her second round of chemo. I hate seeing her that ill.

I can't say. All I know is the information presented by ESPN after it apologized for the headline.
-
The person who wrote that headline has been fired, and an anchor was suspended.

I despise the constant and often inaccurate cries of racism in this country, especially in sports. So when I say that there's a massive racist bias against Asian athletes, I really do mean it. And to use a phrase like "Chink in the Armor"there's no way that was a mistake. It's disgraceful.

Yeesh. I think the look on his face is worse than what he said.

Wow. I must be the only one here who doesn't feel old.

I love house getting annoyed by that moron from Scrubs.
-
If that kind of line were in the show, I'd watch it, that's for sure.

I think I get about half of those.

I think we should let him rest in peace for at least one day before we leap back into demonizing him.I've seen Penn State folks on both my FB and Twitter feeds posting about him today, and it's kind of... yeah. Guys, yes, he was an awesome guy, I'm sure. He also was aware of the Sandusky molestations for at least 13 years and did exactly jackshit about them.

I love how even after all this time, the continuity debate still rages on. Kind of moot, since, well, The Master decided it years ago.
