    So, Episode 91 is going to be the start of the NewWho? What about the shi...I mean stuff inbetween like Dimensions In Time and Fatal Death?

    We'll look (briefly, I hope) at DiT in 88. Fatal Death in 89.

    Oh wow, were all these done around the same time? Tom Baker looks like has hasn't changed at all, but in Dimensions in Time he seems to have aged 20 years.

    If memory serves, NJN was generally doing their thing in the mid to late 80s, and DiT was in 93. So a few years, but yes, the change in appearance for Tom was very dramatic.

    88 will be a packed episode then. Fenric, survival, season 26, DiT, ACE, the 7th doctor and the JNT era

    Kind of hard to believe there are only two more episodes covering the classic series left.

    I will never understand all the love for Fatal Death. I find it very unfunny. Not that much different than all the other comedy skits about docotr who that had been done in other shows. But it does capture what the show was to everyone in 1999. Just a joke.

    The bit in remembrance nobody ever talks about. Is that bit where the doctor and ACE are in the van. ACE is driving and says "if you dont like it then you drive". Then they turn the corner, and the doctor is driving. Thats is someting they would not have even done in the Williams era. But I have never heard anyone talk about how silly it is.

    The problem with ACE highlights the problem with Cartmel and his team of writers overall. He had the right idea, but at the end of the day. He was not experienced or talented enough to pull it off. Even the best Mccoy stories are full of pretenious dialouge that a teenager might write.

    i have always been intrigued when the doctor is talking to Barbra about changing history and he say that you cant change history "belive me, i know". I makes me wonder if he has tried to do it before and ended badly.

    The podcast Radio free skaro do their own fan commentaries for both the old and new series, which can be very funny, like when they call Peladon a gay bath house. Another podcast called tachyon tv do funny fan commentaries. But some fans feel they step over the line when they mock the show and its actors. But there one for fear her is well worth downloading.

    Anyone with Peter Davison. He ios very funny and honest. Earthshock and Resurrection of the Daleks are great. Though sometimes Janet Fielding moves away from poking fun at the show to just moaning about it, which can be a little bit annoying. But the 5th doctor ones are good. Survival is a good one to. Episode 3 has and comentary by 4 fans of the show, which is good.

    Who can regenerate. I assumed she was a timelord. Gonna have to watch those episodes again to see what they said about her.

    And much less use of the psychic paper and sonic screwdriver.

    yes they use the sonic screwdriver way too much. But i must say that i like the way Matt Smith uses it as a prop, The way he throws it up and catchs it with the other hand, and taps himself on the head with it while he is thinking. But it has become a cure all problems thing.

    Thats more like it. River Song was great at the start but has been used too much. And if the parallel universe tenth doctor comes back I will be hitting the off button.

    Now let me slide off at a tangent. i don't know if anyone has asked this, but after "Let's kill hitler" is it right to assume that as Mel and Amy grew up as freinds that humans and timelords age at the same rate???

    I always think of Mel/river song as being someone that has aspects of time lord DNA. But is not actuly a time lord. But i could be wrong

    Ice Warriors, the 8th Doctor, John Simm's Master & Captain Jack. The Eleventh Doctor playing off of any of them would be very refreshing!

    Also, if Lady Christina de Entitled Catwoman-lite Thief Bint and her f***ing flying bus return, I raze BBC Wales to the ground.

    Yes a posh woman who commits theft. Yet we are not only ment to like her, but we are ment to hate the people who are trying to arrest her for breaking the law. The doctor lets a criminal go free. That episode would have been so much better if at the end he turned her into the police and coldly told her that what she likes to do for fun is wrong.
