  1. I've never seen TCM2, so I can't comment on that. But I did see 3 and OH! was that bad! OH snap, I remember the trailer for that movie. One of the funniest, in a bad way, trailers I have ever seen. Scene opens up to a man standing next to a lake, sorrounded by scenic beauty, when out of nowhere a chainsaw starts raising up from the water, and then a dead hand tosses it at the man who grabs it out of the air, starts it up and turn around to reveal leatherface, so bad it's laughable. Have you ever seen the fourth one? Now that was the worst sequel of the bunch in my opinion.
  2. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of my favorite horror films of all time, so why must they keep fucking with it's legacy. This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard, a prequel to show his background? Stupidest Fuckin idea ever. Then again it can't be worse than some of the other sequels, right...
  3. Am I the only one that finds it odd that he we are, only a month away from the launch of the DS, and there has been almost no advertisements for it. Nintendo has been running a shitload of GBA commercials, perhaps trying to move as many as possible before the DS comes out, but I have not seen one ad or commercial for the DS. You would think that with Sony about to give Nintendo competition in the hand held market starting early next year, that they would want to get as many people psyched up for the DS as possible. Yet if your a person who doesn't read game industry news, you might have never heard of the Ds, of if you have, you might not be knowledgeable of the specifics, so with it's release but a month away, it seems stupid to me for Nintendo to not be pushing it and getting the name out there. At the very least you would think they would want to create a hype for it before it came out.
  4. I agree. I thought Vice City music was gonna suck at first but then it turned out to be pretty decent. Have Rage on there is a good sign. I'll listen to the chat station anyway. I don't know, when I saw Rage on there, I immeadiatelty thought . That band, at least to me, is such an asininely hypocritical band that I can't stand, and their lyrics and message just anger me. How can you sing about anti-capitalism when you, yourself, go as far as putting your band name on underwear and thongs in an effort to make a buck.
  5. Am I the only one that thinks this is horrible music so far. I'll just have to wait to I can see the complete track listing for each station.
  6. Thankyou. I knew the word Man was in the title, but I couldn't remember the rest of it. And I agree, when it was just starting to get interesting, they took it off.
  7. I've been trying my hardest to remember the title of a cartoon that was shown in america in the mid 90's and it's been bugging me forever that I can't remember it, so I thought I would ask everyone here. The synopsis of the cartoon was that it took place in the future, where man would travel through space. The protaganists of the show were losing to the antaganists in robot fights, until one of the antaganists left and joined the side of good. The men that would fight in the robots used crystals to change into robots, and the main character, the guy who defected to the side of good, had his crystal destroyed in a fight. So the protaganist force built a giant robot that would amplify the crystal's shards, so if he jumped into it, he would be able to transform into a robot again. Much fighting would ensue. Thats about the gist of the show, hopefully somoeone here will know what I am talking about and will be able to help me.
  8. I picked this up the day it came out, and all I got to say is it is greatness. Did anyone else pick it up? I can't believe it has been 13 years sense I saw these, as I watched them it seemed like just yesterday I saw them last.
  9. I put Batman over Bigfish in the first poll, but I wouldn't put Edward Scissorhands over Bigfish, so therefor Batman gets my vote.

    Burton Fans Rejoice!

I first heard about this game over a year and a half ago, I thought it had been scrapped because I hadn't heard much lately.
  11. Prime was a character from the early 90's who was a pre-teen boy that would turn into an overly muscular superhero. I believe Marvel did a "big" versus storyline between him and the Hulk.
  12. I would put this list in this order, so I will have to go with Edward Scissorhands Edward Scissorhands James and the Giant Peach Batman Returns Mars Attacks! Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Planet of the Apes

    Invader Zim

I must admit that I had never heard of this show, much less seen it, until my fiance showed it to me. Now having seen it, I love it, and I bought me and her volume 1.
  14. Ren and Stimpy All I can say is it is about damn time. I have been asking for this since television shows first started to be put on DVD. :OMG: :OMG: :OMG:
  15. credit: Gamers.com All I can say is it's about damn time. I have been a fan of the Deception series through all 3 of the PS1 installments, and have been waiting eagerly for any news regarding a fourth game in the series. I alway loved trying to create the perfect trap combos in each room to take on the different types of invaders.
  16. From this list I would rate them in this order, so i'll be going with Batman. Batman Big Fish Ed Wood Beetlejuice The Nightmare Before Christmas Sleepy Hollow
  17. I've seen some of these, and from the ones I've seen they came across as shallow attempts to cash in on the Star Wars name while it's hot. Then again, maybe I just didn't get to see the right episodes, but from the one's I did, I agree with you that it was just geared to the "Oooh cool, a big battle, oooh, light saber duel" audience.
  18. Alot of the games I would say have already been said, but one that hasn't been said that is a favorite of mine would be: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, probably my pick for top PS1 game of all time. I'll be back later to try and narrow down a top ten.
  19. Which DVD, I ask because I am a big Darkstalkers fan.
  20. I think with all the PSP news coming out of the TGS, I think it may be time to add a PSP section in the videogames forum.
  21. Outside of the Thing, I still think the cast is to young. It's like on Mr. Fantastic's picture, He's young, but hey we gave him some gray hair by his ears so it should be fine. And how does Jessica Alba keep getting work, oh wait, this is the new Hollywood where it doesn't mater that you can't act your way out of a paper sack, you'll always have a job if the casting agents think you look good.
  22. His super psycho crusher where he would dissapear and then fly by destroying the whole screen hitting you no matter where you were in Alpha 3 use to piss me off so much, but then I fought Gill. With his super art that hits the whole screen and his abilty to reverse your last hit that kills him into a super that revives all his life, he ended up pissing me off more.
  23. To the comic book fan, I agree that the FF is in the same league. However to the summer movie audience, it's not as recognizable to the mainstream movie goers that just go to see a good action movie and could care less about the comic ties.
  24. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Seriously, FF in the same league as Spiderman and Xmen is laughable, who are they trying to kid when thier big stars are the Commish and the chick from Idle Hands. I also laughed at the idea of another horrible Mission: Impossible movie in the works.
  25. That would be the Essential Spider-Man Vol. 1-6. Vol. 1: Amazing Fantasy 15, Amazing Spider-Man 1-20, Amazing Spider-Man Annual 1 Vol. 2: Amazing Spider-Man 21-43, Amazing Spider-Man Annual 2-3 Vol. 3: Amazing Spider-Man 44-68 Vol. 4: Amazing Spider-Man 69-89 Vol. 5: Amazing Spider-Man 90-113 Vol. 6: Amazing Spider-Man 114-137, Giant-Size Super Heroes 1, Giant-Size Spider-Man 1-2 The best part: These can be purchased for around $15 each. However, they are in black and white. But what do you expect for $15? Black and white, huh. Strange, because the ones I saw in B&N were color.
