  1. Pretty simple question. I'm Torn between Shin Bison, because of his super psycho crusher that takes up the entire screen in SF A3, plus S. Bison could clone himself in SF EX3 and you would have 3 guys to fight, and Gill. In the end I have to give the nod to Gill as his reach is equal if not more than Sagat's, he is powerful and quick, and he is the only fighter in SF3 that can use more than one super art in a match. PLus he also has the cheapest move, EVER. If you defeat him, and he has a full super guage, he resurrects himself. So you have to fight him twice with only one life bar in a single round.
  2. Like when SquareOnline came out, and Bradygames Strategy Guides were nothing but 200 glossy paged advertisment for Squareonline. Featuring such boss stategies as, go online and put in this code at SquareOnline to find out this boss' weakness. Or how about if you wanted to know how to get a special weapon, once again the stategy guide would tell you to go to SquareOnline and find out. I feel sorry for anyone that bought that.

    The Big Guy

The cartoon was great, wasn't it? Rusty did come off as a joke american version of Astro Boy. I'm not sure if that was their intent, though.

    The Big Guy

The other day I found some of my old Big Guy and Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot, and I was wondering if anyone else read, or liked these. I enjoyed them in a way that they reminded me of my childhood love of robots, especially giant robots. Even though I was much older than what seemed like the target demographic, I could still enjoy these comics, and was wondering if anyone else did.
  5. If you want to go back to the beginning, I believe Marvel has books that have spiderman comics in them in order, like one book is issue 1-50, one is 51-100, I'm not sure if that is the actual issue count per book, but you get the idea.
  6. Wolverine is basically a mutant human version of Freddy. Both have sharp pointy things on their hands, both have super strength, both have an super ability to regenerate what would seem to be mortal wounds. Wolverine has more speed than the undead Freddy, though. With this fight, I could see Wolverine slicing and dicing Jason, but Jason would keep coming after him after every slicing frenzy, and I could see Jason pretty much ripping off Wolverine's own arm and stabbing him with it.
  7. I whole-heartedly agree. I always thought the story in Episode 1 and 2 seemed weak because Lucas seemed more interested in the special effects than in the story itself.
  8. I heard she did some pornography shoots as well. I thik you're thinking of the movie she was in that she did a topless/sex scene in. I forget what it was called though.
  9. My problem is that if it was released under the name Street Fighter 2, I would have no problem with whats included on the disk. However, to call something an aniversary collection, and to only include 2 games just led me to be dissapointed. I love playing SF2 again, and SF3: 3rd strike is the best version of SF3, however, I was just hoping there would be atleast one version of each SF series; SF1, SF2, SF Alpha 3, SF EX3, SF3: 3rd Strike. I just feel that as it is now, I was underwhelmed at this so-called Anniversary Collection.
  10. All Texas Chainsaw Massacre's with the exception of the original. The original is one of my favorite movies, but god, the sequels, how horrible.
  11. What gives? you've been here a month and you don't have over 1000 posts yet. If we had a POTD award, that would be it. Thank you much sir. What can I say, I tell it like i see it. In fact, I think I got something now to fill my empty signature.
  12. That is correct, Venom was billed as his first adversary.
  13. What gives? you've been here a month and you don't have over 1000 posts yet.
  14. Nope, although Kaine first started making appearances during the intitial Scarlet Spider story arc, he didnt cross the Scarlet Spider's path. Hint: Scarlet Spider was injured in the fight with his first adversary and had to go to the hospital. As for my last question, I was thinking about saving the answer to ask later, but if you must know, the seven villans were: Hobgoblin, Electro, Shocker, Beetle, Mysterio, Vulture, and Scorpia.
  15. I guess since noone was able to get my last one, I'll try another one. Who was billed as the Scarlet Spider's first adversary?
  16. The previews look interesting, as for the rating, they'll probably edit it to go as high as an R rating will allow, and then release an unrated version on dvd.
  17. Atleast the Mega Man collection had all 8 main Mega Man games, this "collection" doesn't even have the original. I think that's what sours me the most, that an anniversary collection doesn't even include the game that started the series. Plus to leave out a version of an Alpha game or a version of an EX game just dissapointed me, as I was hoping, after reading that they added a version of SF3: 3rd strike, that they would have added atleast SF1 and SF Alpha3 at the end, but alas this collection is merely a collection of SF2 characters.
  18. So, I picked this up on Monday for 28 bucks, and to be honest, I feel under-whelmed. Maybe I was just spoiled after the great job Capcom did with the Mega Man collection, but with this one, I can't help but feel dissapoinment. In the set you get two games, SF 3: 3rd strike and Hyper SF2, a game that has the characters from SF2 and allow you to pick different versions of them. I feel that had they added just two games, this would have been a great set. If it had: Street Fighter- Seriously, how the HELL do you release an Anniversary Collection and not include the original that started it all? Street Fighter Alpha 3- Aurguebly the best game of the Alpha series Had these games been included this would feel more like a Anniversary set, they could have even added Street Fighter EX3 if they wanted to have one game from every series, but as it stands it seems incomplete. Am I the only one that felt dissapointed with this collection?
  19. Number 2 was a really good book, too. It had the predator killing Batman's enemies so that way Batman would be saved for him, it also had 2 extra predators that had showed up to get the first predator. It had pretty good figths, the only down to the book was the inclusion of the Huntress as Batman's ally. Her character came off as annoying and didn't add anythign to the book.
  20. If Batman met him on a street he would get his ass kiscked, but giving him time to thihk about it means he will win. Hell, Jason is really nothing but a blood lusted zombie that doesnt think, just kills, so he could be up against anybody with half a brain and would lose if you gave the other guy time to thihk about a plan.
  21. Which 7 villans teamed together in Spiderman, to take down Kaine after he killed Docter Octopus and Grim Hunter?
  22. Personnaly, I am a big fan of western movies, and it saddens me to see the the genre in such a dry spell. So, I was wondering if anyone else here is a lover of westerns and your thoughts on it. Are westerns a thing of the past? Have they all been but given up on in favor a futuristic sci-fi movies? I think the movement to space and futursitc movies is what hurt the western the most. It would seem poeple nowadays want to see epic battles done in spaceship, or a sci fi story featuring unseen weapons and gadgets. What is everyone's take on this? If you do enjoy the western genre, feel free to discuss some of your favorites,
  23. I believe Storm was shot with a gun that took her powers, so you could blame Forge for building it, or Gyrich (sp) for shooting it. Although I could be wrong as I can't remember clearly if Storm or Rouge was shot with it.
