It comes out August 8th for those that care. This one takes place in Wakanda, so you know who's going to be in it.

The Silver Surfer Will Be Played By Computers
According to Moviehole, not only are the rumors about Vin Diesel playing the Silver Surfer in the second Fantastic Four movie untrue, but the Surfer won't even be played by a human, with director Tim Story opting for an all CGI design.
The film's director, Tim Story, told me this morning that although The Silver Surfer is indeed in the movie, it won't be Vin Diesel playing him.
"No truth to it", Story said, when asked about the Diesel rumours. "The Surfer will be a new CGI design being developed especially for the movie. It's going to be incredible."

Spider-Man 3 Plot Secret
Ut-oh! Spoilers! Some new pictures have surfaced from the shooting of Spider-Man 3, revealing what may be a crucial plot point from the new film. So if you want to know the scoop, click the link below. If not, move back to the safety net of your mother's arms, wuss.
In the new pictures, Thomas Hayden Church is shown in a scene with Cliff Robertson and Michael Papajohn (Uncle Ben and his killer, respectively). Rumor is, it turns out that Church's character, Flint Marko/Sandman, ends up being the one who actually killed Uncle Ben.

You think that's depressing? The first issue I ever read was the death of Illyana to the legacy virus.
Same here! The very first X-book I ever read was Uncanny X-Men #303, the death of Illyana.
That's spooky.
I was hooked, and not long after that, Wizard came out with an all X-Men special that listed every character, and all the major events from the book. I studied that until I knew everything about the X-Men.

So basically, Superman is a deadbeat dad who knocks up Lois lane and then takes off into space for half a decade.
You want to explain how you can be a deadbeat dad when you don't even know you are a dad? From the look on Lois's face during the piano incident, she might not have known either. That leads me to belive she jumped straight into bed with Richard right after Supes left Earth. Even if she did know, she told everyone that the father was Richard, and he took care of the child as the father so Supes couldn't have been responsible for him if he wanted to.

I think that if you are selling something for a certain price then it is fair game for people to buy at that price regardless of its worth. To the person selling it, obviously that is what they think the worth is, but to you it is worth more. On the other hand I would probably give the $100 back though if I found it in a book.
Me too. Of course what's a hundred bucks if the comic is worth more?

Age of Apocalypse made me realize that the X-books were just too depressing
to warrant reading.
You think that's depressing? The first issue I ever read was the death of Illyana to the legacy virus. Seriously, she was like 10. I thought it was a rule that you can't kill kids.

It was both the Spider-Clone Saga and the X-men AOA that made me
give up comics for a while.
AOA saved the X titles in my opinion, and it was a good story. Onslaught on the other hand.........

I would, and have, bought it. From an antique store no less.
I was on vacation and with family who decided to go antiquing (joy). This particular store had a comic for sale, for $10. They probably thought they were milking me for a sucker.
This was the book:
Featires the first Silver Age Joker appearance baby!!!
Oh, and hello. This is my first post. I told Mike I'd register and i did.

In your case, you should have laughed in their faces. An antiques store that sells comics should know exactly what it's worth.
Detective Comics #268 F- $150
Nice return on that 10 bucks.

After a quick Google search, my guess is Nightwalker.

I don't know when it was made though.
-
I really don't like either one of these characters.

This kind of thing happens all the time, although not usually with comics. Anybody who has seen the Antiques Roadshow knows that. If you don't know you have something valuble, it's not my responsibility to tell you.

In one installment of Final Fantasy, they gave Auron more character than Samus has gotten in all her games.
In all fairness, though, the games these characters appear in are two totally separate genres. A Role-Playing Game will automatically have a lot more story and character development than a shooter or an action game.
That's no excuse. Duke Nukem, Master Chief, and Solid Snake have lots of story and character development(well, in Duke's case it's personality). I haven't played a Metroid game since the original, so I don't know what the character is like, but I haven't played a MGS game since the original and I know what his personality is. The same with the others. One of the reason I never played the Metroid games is because they looked boring, like they had no story.

It would almost be better to buy a PS1, since I have a PS1 controller.
EB sometimes have PS1s for like 10 or 15 bucks.

I'm confused. In X-Factor#8, Jamie Madrox has a dupe that is a Shield Agent that comes to make sure they adhere to the SuperHero Registration Act, but in Wolverine#43 Iron Man tells Wolverine that the 198 are already registered with the governement. Basically, all Mutants are exempt from having to register because they already know who they all are. Why are X-Factor having to comply with the S.R.A.?

Sorry, I didn't remember the last part. I do remember you saying it in two episodes though.
-
Yoda, just wanted to point out that you were wrong about Bullseye being Daredevil now. He was locked up in Prison too.
-
It must be your PS2 because officially these are the only PS1 games that don't work on the PS2.
Arcade Party Pak
Atari Arcade Greatest Hits
Fighter Maker
Final Fantasy Anthology
International Track and Field
Judge Dredd
Monkey Hero
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Tomba
I know you aren't planning on running out and buying Judge Dredd, but watch out for FF Anthology and MK Trilogy.

A lot of news this week.
A script review of the Wolverine movie on LatinoReview.com. I don't know how they keep getting all these scripts.
http://latinoreview.com/scriptreview.php?id=26
Read the above link at your own risk of being mad about them completely changing his origin. I'll give you a run down of the characters in it.
Victor Creed
Silverfox
Beak
Stryker
Blob
a few others that I'm not sure if they are made up for the movie.

That's right. The second FF movie will be titled Fantastic 4 and the Silver Surfer. An actual crossover in a movie. My only question is whether or not Galactus is going to be in it. The site I read it on doesn't say. They only say that Surfer is running around causing trouble, and that Doom comes back. I hope he shows up at the very end, and that leads into the 3rd movie. That would be a true comic book cliffhanger ending.

Ok, so this is a rumors thread so take these as rumors.
****Possible Spoilers****
Supposedly the last villian is Mysterio, played by Bruce Campell, and he only makes a cameo. Harry and Aunt May both die, and The Black Cat was written in the script, but changed to Gwen Stacy to replace Mary Jane since Dunst isn't coming back.

Bumblebee was always the weakest of the Autobots. They probably jam his transforming somehow.
Iron Man

The movie will be released May 8th, 2008. It will be directed by Jon Favreau, who directed Elf, Zathura, and he wrote and starred in Swingers. It seems kind of strange that it won't be a summer release.
