  1. I'll go ahead and set the scene up so the picture makes sense.

    But first of course:

    ****Spoiler Warning****

Bumblebee is captured by government forces and taken to a military base at a dam(strange place for a base). He is tied down to something while they do whatever they do to him.

  2. Wolverine Spinoff Coming Next Year

By: César A. Berardini - "Cesar"

    Jun. 28th, 2006 8:28 am

Reuters and The Hollywood Reporter informed today that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine will headline a spinoff of 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise.

At the Cine Expo in Amsterdam, the studio promised the attendees a "Wolverine" film for next year starring Hugh Jackman. To back-up the news, Jackman himself made an appearance via a video tape to confirm the much-anticipated movie.

I knew it was coming, but next year?

  3. Alright, if Sweet Tooth wins this, I'll hate you all.

I don't care how uncontrolable and violent he is, flames of hellfire, god spiting him, or whatever bullshit you can come up with. He's still a CLOWN in a FUCKING ICECREAM TRUCK.

    ditto

  4. Sandman looked awsome. Well, everything looked awsome actually.

edit: I just watched frame by frame(yes I'm a geek), and it looks even better.

    *****Spoilers*****

One scene is him trying to get rid of the black suit in the bell tower. I'm glad they are keepin it's weakness to noise in the movie.

For some reason Harry is on the glider, but doesn't have the suit on. He is wearing a bandana.

Peter and MJ must be getting married because a ring shows up in 2 scenes.

  5. I just read Civil War #2 and it's going about how I thought it would. The law has gone into effect, and the resistance is going ahead full steam. The whole Spidey reveal was watered down because of all the hype, but JJ's reaction is priceless.

  6. 11 clips from Superman Returns

    Very spoiler heavy.

It gives away where he has been in at least 2 of the clips. In the rooftop scene I really thought he was Christopher Reeve at first.

    ****Spoilers****

In the first video it looks like the same place Lex was in during the first movie. It even has a pool just like it(the one that Supes almost died in). Also, is that Miss Teschmacher in that scene?

  7. I just think it's very interesting that a year ago DC made a big deal with keeping identities secret (Identity Crisis) and this year it's Marvel making an identity statement. I liked DC's take and I'm also liking Marvel's.

I'm pretty much on the side of not revealing identities, but I understand why Tony did what he did. My question is. Why say anything about your alchohol addiction? Isn't he consisdered one of the smartest individuals in the Marvel U? I feel revealing his identity was bad, but potentially giving your enemy's your one weakness...well, was just dumb. Doesn't seem like a smart move for one of the smartest men on the planet.

If you are referring to his "I'm Tony Stark, and I'm an alchoholic" line when he reveals himself, I think he's making a joke. The situation is like being in AA and having to stand in front of everyone and tell your secrets.

  8. Has this actually been said in an issue, or are you assuming this because CW#1 featured Bush on the last page? (I've yet to read Frontline #1 and CW#2, so pardon me if it's covered in there.)

They say it in Frontline #1. The reporters are on opposite sides of the issue. The female reporter makes an analogy about the constitution being in one corner, and misinformation and paranoia in the other. It's pretty obvious in this book that they are tying it in with real life political issues.

About the Spidey unmasking thing. It's a stupid thing to do. Everything good about Spider-Man has to do with him trying to keep his 2 lives seperate. Even if he didn't give his name, alot of people will recognize him as a famous news photog, or as being married to a supermodel. I agree that they will say that this isn't the real Peter.

  9. Since conservatives generally opposed restrictions on gun ownership it would make sense that a good number of conservatives would oppose registration of super powers if those powers actually existed. Gun Owners of America would have a super powers department, for example.

They are saying the opposite. They are saying that conservatives want to "reign in" the people with powers and Liberals think it is the government taking away people's freedoms.

  10. I just finished reading Civil War: Frontline #1, and I have some good and bad things to say about it.

Good: It's not just 1 story, it's 3. The first being the Civil War story being told through 2 reporter's point of views. The second about Speedball, and what happened to him after the explosion. And the third is a short poem that features Spider-man.

If you are a Spider-Man or Iron Man fan, then you'll want to read this.

Bad: They are turning the Superhuman Registration Act into a Liberals versus Conservative thing. I don't want politics in my comic book. I read them to get away from that stuff. Just because I am against it doesn't make me a Liberal, or if I supported it, it wouldn't make me a Republican.

Overall, it's a good book, that shows what a hard time Spider-Man is having right now.

  11. All around the news you read articles saying Sony needs to "justify" their price. Sony doesn't need to justify shit. They can release their product at whatever price they want. I'm no fanboy, but I'm just getting sick of this "me first" attitude people have, and then you have the idiots that say Sony is doomed because of their price. This is going to sell out the first day, regardless of price, and to believe otherwise is ignorance.

Of course it will sell out first day. They will run out of systems on the first day. The problem is that Microsoft will have a year head start, more next gen games out, and a cheaper system the day the PS3 launches. They say they don't see Nintendo as a competitor anymore, so take that as you want.

They do have to justify the price to their investers. If I had stock in Sony, I would demand to know why they are taking such a big risk, and if I didn't like the answers, I'd sell.

The bottom line is that if you are seeing stories all over the news about it, then there must be a reason for it.

  12. I've been killing Scorpion since 1991. Even ripped his heart out. He's a pussy :P

And subsequently, he's ripped your jugular out with a spear and burned you alive a couple thousand times, I wager. :P

And how exactly did you rip his heart out in 1991 when the first MK came out in 1992?

I've always been ahead of my time :w00t:
