  1. And the IMDB page And my range of emotions when I first read this:
  2. Very nice, but Linus as the Comedian? They're father and daughter... and brother and sister?
  3. It's been years since I've read anything with Glenn Talbot in it (he be very dead in the Marvel U), but I remember him being a weasly sycophant for General Ross and trying to weasel his way into Betty's heart. Maybe it was the pencil-thin mustache, but that was always my impression.
  4. It may or may not be here.
  5. I don't think that any soundtrack in recent history has gone in order.
  6. Did this become a caption contest thread?

    Action Comics #866

When I saw the Gary Frank sketchbook in an issue of Wizard, I remember thinking, "His Superman is going to rock". I wasn't too thrilled with his Lois or Supergirl though. This validates the first thought, invalidates the 2nd, and I can't wait to see his Supergirl now.

    NERD WAR!

The geek world becomes unraveled as nerds choose sides! The two angriest reviewers in internet history have... aw, fuck it. This promotional crap is harder to do than I thought. Anyway, The Nostalgia Critic (aka ThatGuyWithTheGlasses aka Douglas) made a video a few months back declaring the nerd should reign in his fans that were leaving comments on his YouTube channels about how he war ripping off the Angry Video Game Nerd (aka The Angry Nintendo Nerd aka James). He warned that if the Nerd made any kind of comment, there would be repercussions. http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolink...-game-nerd-rant That opening salvo was met with a response... in written form. James posted a comment on his forums that was complimentary. Or was it? http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolink...erd-rant-part-2 Tensions were building. Fans were commenting. A storm was building. And then came The Wizard (aka Super Mario Brothers 3 trailer with a full-length feature film around it aka that movie with the kid from The Wonder Years) incident. http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolink...vgn-wizard-rant Still this conflict remained one-sided. The Nerd refused to respond, citing he was, "way too busy". Until now. The Nerd has responded. The war is on. The first casualty was the Nostalgia Critic's website, which was forced to move servers much sooner than expected. WHICH SIDE WILL YOU CHOOSE? P.S.: If anyone has enough free time and interest to make Civil War parody banners, I'd greatly appreciate it.
  10. That trailer makes me pine for the Dolph Lundgren Punisher.

    Confession Time

Where the hell did these pants come from?
  12. Seeing your list, I'm sure this will spark a debate. As the voice of Darkside, absolutely. Personally, I don't think a live-action Darkseid would look good. You would almost have to do him CG to do him justice. Um, no. Just no. Dakota Fanning looks like she's an 8-year old, and would not age well to be Barbara. Besides that, Batgirl or Robin wouldn't really fit into the world Nolan established for Batman Begins. I'd have to find some more of her work (I don't watch Friday Night Lights, I'm not watching a fucking Aquaman pilot that the CW wouldn't air, and I'm trying to wipe Smallville from my memory), but at first glance she's far to glamorous to play Supergirl. I'm all for a new SG movie, as long as they erased the first one from continuity but kept Jerry Goldsmith's theme music, but I picture more of an unknown to play her. Your forgetting his work in "The Devil's Rejects" and "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch". Big Lazy is one of those guys I could imagine being great in a role that requires a lot of snarky dialogue and not a lot of movement, eg. Tombstone or Killer Croc. As for Solomun Grundy and Bane, you need more than just a tall guy, you need some who's massively big. Brock Lesnar would be my choice for either. Huh, didn't know Tim Burton was directing a new Batman movie (sorry for the flashbacks, Mike). I agree that Depp could play the Riddler, but in the end it would resemble Jim Carrey's a little too much. I forget who's idea it was, but David Hyde Pierce might be a better choice for the world Nolan has established.
  13. Take his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III review and put it at the end of MK: Armageddon. There's your review.
  14. What...? I think he's advertising a site.
  15. Great show so far, but I had to pause it for a giggling fit at one line from Mr. Sims: Juvenile, I know, but still unintentional comedy gold.
  16. They didn't see the Ark itself, they saw a drawing of it on the cavern walls. And she was Austrian.
  17. Superman and Batman are no-brainers, even with axes they are gonna bring up E-2. You're the embodiment of Werewolf rape, so that explains that. But where exactly is disappearing middle-class mentioned on the mainpage? Did the site shift to political sciences discussions without me noticing? And nobody wants to take it from you.
  18. I'm still waiting for "Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys". Orbitron rules us all.
  19. Story Details & Villains Gallery *SPOILERS AHEAD*
