  1. I think Eddie Murphy’s swan song will be a movie where he plays every single character, from the protagonist, to the love interest, to the antagonist and all the extras.
  2. God, I wished they aired this in Australia (maybe they did at some point in a late night slot, it’s hard to say). I really liked what I saw of the series on Youtube, and I remember enjoying the cartoon as a kid. Definitely a fun read.
  3. http://thehappiestblogintheworld.blogspot.com. It's pretty sparse at this point, but hopefully I'll keep coming back to update it. I'm not one for politics or ranting in general, so it's pretty much going to be the site where I talk about stuff I like, and occasionally stuff I don't like. Feel free to comment on it.
  4. The 90 minute cutscene thing is already being contested by a few websites. Honestly though, I have enough trouble sitting through 10 minute cutscenes, an hour and a half would be hell for me.
  5. Honestly, Thompson was never much of a threat. Reading through some of his most recent court proceedings (which can be read here) the man seems to have lost his sanity a while ago. It’s as depressing as it is funny.
  6. Pretty much everything is. Just not leveling system.
  7. The weird thing is that the levelling system is not as bad as you think. There’s a genuine experience system that’s handled in the background, but because it’s hidden and level ups are shown via the reels, it appears random.
  8. It’s been a while since a new webcomic thread was created, so I thought I’d add something a little different. I’m not normally one to read serious webcomics, but there’s something enchanting about this one. The art is beautiful and abstract, the writing is excellent, it’s just a fun comic in general. I don’t think I could properly explain the story if I tried, so I’ll just give the link: http://riceboy.jho-tan.com/
  9. Considering that the site was made specifically for the movie, I can understand it. It’s only going to be massive fans of the series posting there, so any new information is going be treated with incredible enthusiasm.
  10. Great read. I’m glad I never watched this as a kid.
  11. Eh, I’m not as happy with this one. Looking through, it needed some pretty heavy editing from Yoda, which is a shame because a couple of points that I wanted to make had to be edited out. It’s also hard to get across just how weird this game gets towards the end. But thanks for the feedback.

    PS3 news

Folklore might be worth looking at. It’s PS3 exclusive and looks pretty unique, and despite the fact that it’s rarely talked about, it got a decent amount of praise from critics.

    PS3 news

There’s got to be at least a couple of games in the PS3’s library that interest you. What type of games do you typically enjoy?
  14. I read the X-Factor One Shot The Quick and The Dead on the weekend. Not sure why it was an X-Factor One Shot since X-Factor aren’t actually in it, instead it’s a story about the depowered Quicksilver attempting to confront his demons and retain his sanity. Long story short: Not sure whether or not his story will actually tie in with X-Factor, but it was a fun read.
  15. Oh man, Green Arrow has the most sinister smile going on in that picture, and Brewster just looks uncomfortable…
  16. Listened to this last night while working overtime at work. Nice first show guys, and I’m sure it’s only going to get better as the series goes on.
  17. Hoo boy, this is going to suck. There are few people as painfully unfunny as Jimmy Fallon.
  18. Exactly. It’s just a nifty little easter egg for comic book fans.
  19. It would be nice to see a clearer pic, but that’s pretty cool as far as Easter eggs go.
  20. I enjoyed the first one for what it was. Running up to buffed aliens and hacking into them with a chainsaw was always fun. I'll probably play the sequel at some point, although it won't be a first day purchase.
  21. - Finishing off a few more games in my backlog (Particularly SMT: Lucifers call and Digital Devil Saga 2). - Reading through the first volume of Preacher. - Finally reading A Clash of Kings - I’ve thought of writing up a few columns for the site, but past a few basic ideas, I wouldn’t really know where to start.
  22. This video requires a bit of explanation. Anyone outside of the U.S may have seen the astronomical number of games Phoenix Games has released for the PS2 (in the U.S, Phoenix Games have managed to release games like Ninjabread Man on the Wii). These games aren’t just bad: they’re perhaps some of the worst games I’ve ever seen. A large chunk of their games are animated rip-offs of Disney cartoons, with the “game” portion essentially made of crappy mini games. Of course, I could try to explain just why these games are so bad, but mere words just can’t cover it. For evidence just look at and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsV5ymHCNww. Which brings me to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kNNSBVhmho.
  23. Read the first book of Y: The Last Man on the weekend. Fun read, I’m interested in seeing what direction the series takes.
  24. After the success of Iron Man, I can easily see Captain America doing good numbers outside of the U.S. The name is a bit of a problem, and I think it would initially turn people away, but if it’s the same quality as Iron Man I think it can overcome the connotations that come with the name. But maybe I’m being idealistic.
  25. Nobody. I don’t see how that counts against the film though. He even looked evil in the trailers; I don’t think they even tried to hide the fact that he was a bad dude. His facade was more to fool Tony than the audience. I didn’t think the dialogue was that bad . And the final fight was like a videogame? Really? I thought it was paced just right and never got too over the top .. I’m not quite sure what else they could have done with the supporting cast either, since everyone seemed to get a decent amount of screen time. Out of curiosity, what would you say was the best Marvel movie?
