  1. I love how so many violent games get released every year with nary a word against them. Then Rockstar releases a game, and suddenly the shit hits the fan (even if said game is fairly light-hearted, like Bully)
  2. Average reviews? So far it's got 94% on Rottentomatoes, which is incredible really. Heck there's an article on the front page saying that Iron Man is (at this stage) the best reviewed movie of the year.
  3. Just came back from it. I don’t have a whole lot to say that hasn't been said everywhere else at some point. I just wanted to say that I really, really enjoyed it. I came in with high expectations and it matched them perfectly. It’s worth staying behind after the credits too; the bonus scene was excellent.
  4. I really need to start seeking out new music. My attempts at finding something new on Last FM have been in vain, as it just keeps coming up with artists I already listen to. Any suggestions from my fellow earth-2-ers? If it’s any help, I’m spending most of my time listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle (along with other Patton projects), Primus, Queens of the Stone Age and Devin Townsend.
  5. 1. Venture Bros 2. South Park 3. The Simpsons (Would probably be number 1 if the show stopped around season 10) 4. Futurama 5. Clone High (only caught a few episodes, but it’s hilarious from what I’ve seen) 6. Batman TAS 7. Biker Mice From Mars (although I have no idea if this would hold up today) 8. Transformers 9. Pinky and the Brain 10. Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law
  6. Excellent work Dan. I swear these reviews get funnier every time.
  7. I was going to see this last night, but sleep got in the way. I’m kinda so-so about seeing it tonight because I know the cinemas will be packed.
  8. Well golly, that was a tense 15min or so...
  9. In any case, Demolition man is pretty awesome. It’s just a fun, silly ride from start to finish.
  10. There are few things on the internet as scary as a drawn cleavage shot in a person’s avatar.
  11. I watched Foo Fighters play yesterday. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I ended up having a ton of fun. Dave Grohl is probably the most energetic musician I’ve seen live. The dude knew exactly how to keep the fans happy.
  12. Christ. Figures as much, I probably saw the idea first on this site too. Heck, I'm pretty sure I logged in just before I made that post as well, which shows just how observant I am.
  13. Perhaps it’s worth creating a little sub-forum with a message for any guests to the site. Just something simple like a friendly invite for people who might want to join. I don’t think forcing people to register will solve anything, I mean look at all the people who have registered and rarely (if ever) post.
  14. Nice work dude. I already prefer it to any of the recent Cable covers I've seen, although that might be because everything is actually proportioned in a believable way.
  15. Figures as much. If I can find the first book, I’ll pick it up this weekend.
  16. Already have. I think I actually enjoyed Year One a little more.
  17. For some reason, my 360 won’t read my save file for Condemned 2. I made it all the way to the last stage too, and now it’s asking me if I’d like to start the first level again. I've had a few problems with my 360 in the past couple of months, but nothing major. This however is very annoying. I just hope my other game saves work okay. I’m not going to be happy if I’ve lost everything.
  18. I just finished reading The Dark Knight Returns. Awesome stuff. I also picked up the second book of Preacher. I’ve thought about grabbing the first, but I keep hearing that the series doesn’t start picking up until 2. Is it worth seeking out and reading through the first one before I read the second?
  19. Aww shucks. Thanks again for the kind words guys.
  20. It's nifty that you've created a website Doug, but this isn't really the place to ask the question about ads. And shouldn't you, y'know, wait until your website starts becoming popular before you start considering ads?
  21. As much as I enjoyed the Ghost in the Shell T.V series, I never cared much for the movies. I can’t really see it as a live action movie either.
