Thanks. That’s one of the main reasons I wanted to write up a review for it. Despite being made by Square-Enix, there wasn’t a whole lot being said about it.

You could if you wanted to. I get asked how short I want my fringe every time I visit a barber, so it doesn’t seem like weird term to me. Wiki tells me it’s a term that isn’t used in the U.S, so I guess it’s probably just me.

Am I the only one who read the title and the sub forum it was in and thought “what’s so scary about a man’s haircut?”

Those are the standard colors that appear on that template. I think the post titles would look a little better as orange, but I like the blog title as it is.

Here’s a cool little video series from VBS.TV about two guys and their adventures in North Korea. They basically manage to get into the country by luck, and are then taken on a strict tour with limited access. It’s kind of chilling to watch, as the two are constantly monitored and fed a version of North Korea that the government wants the world to see. Check it out

No interest in Uncharted?

Ah, yes. But sadly: So... yeah. I'd attempt places like Amazon (since you know, they're cheaper and everything), but they take so long to get here.

I’ve recently finished the fourth trade of Y: The Last Man and the first for DC: The New Frontier. I’ve been trying to find the next books in either series, but neither of my local comic book stores have them in. Instead I thought about starting either Bone or The Walking Dead (I hear both are fantastic), but ultimately decided on reading The Sandman: Preludes and Nocturnes.

HA HA HA. That’s MGS for you. I’m surprised you weren’t expecting it to be so cutscene heavy. I think I’ll skip out on this one. The more complicated the controls got, the suckier I got at the series. I hear this one improves in that area a bit, but I’m still hesitant about it.

It's still littered with little things like this: Why would you state that the average gamer is male and between the ages of 13 and 24, then quote a guy saying the same thing? And I don't think most readers would have a clue why Halo 3 and GTA4 are that popular. Sentences like this: Are easily twice as long as they need to be. It's also a little dissapointed that you didn't mention handhelds at all. Just look at how popular the DS is, especially amongst the casual crowd.

Ugh. Iron Man was pretty much perfect as far as origin films go, I don’t know if the sequel will have the same spark if they choose a different director.

Microsoft went all out to generate a bit of buzz for the console in Japan. It’s nice that their getting a few Japanese RPGs onto the system. I remember almost laughing at some of the dialogue in the Infinite Undiscovery trailer, but it does look kind of fun.

God, I love Pixar. This looks like it will be really fun.

Up until a few weeks ago, I always assumed “shorty” was a rapper whose name was always being bought up in mainstream hip hop. I had no idea what the hell lyrics like “Shorty what’s your name?” even meant. I was kind of surprised when my girlfriend explained to me it was slang for woman. I’d feel sheepish about it if it wasn’t such a stupid term.

I've heard nothing but positive things from people who have seen it. I'm really interested in watching this now.

The World Ends With You. It’s been fun so far. Combat is incredibly frantic though, which hasn’t been too much of a problem, considering how effective button mashing is on regular enemies. The boss at the end of the first week has put a stop to that though; I seriously have no idea how I’m going to beat him. I think I’ll submit a review to the site for it.
