  1. Plot summary: Jessica Biel co-stars as Abigail, the daughter of Blade's mentor, Whistler, who inherits his vampire-slaying duties.

    (source: NewLine.com)

I missed Blade 2 but didn't Whistler say in the first film that vampires killed his wife and daughters? Heck, I thought Whistler died in the first one.....

  2. The following is pathetically true. I wandered away from the children's section of the video store and found myself staring at Freddy, Pinhead and The Crow (not the same, granted, but I found goths scary too) and got such bad nightmares at the time that not only did I not watch horror films until very recently but I also didn't set foot in a video store for a good 10 years. Laugh away

So I'm only contributing to say that I caught part 3 on MTV on tuesday and enjoyed it. But having not seen the others, I can't really vote

  3. If you gotta have on ground battles in the game, put about as much of it in the game as the amount of flight missions that Rare put in Star Fox Adentures. Very, very little.

That's what I was trying to say. Thanks :)

  4. I really wish I could remember more, but the episodes don't get that much airplay anymore.

I always liked 'Christmas with the Joker', 'Second Chance' which saw Two-Face stage his own kidnapping before he was to undergo surgery on his face, 'Bane' was good introduction as was 'Two-Face' - I don't get the comics, y'see.

The best, or most memorable, for me is Avatar, when Ra's al Ghul tracked down an ancient Egyptian mummified priestess w/ Batman & Talia on his tail. It introduced me to one of the most fascinating villains I've come across and his relationship with both Batman and his daughter. Vocal characterisation was good too - very menacing English accent, even if he's meant to be a bit more oriental

  5. I'll go with Leo too - he's got the best weapons of the 4 - I've always wondered how bad fucking nunchucks could hurt somebody with swords....

I've been hit with a bo staff (by a trained professional), which is similar enough to nunchucks, and trust me when I say it hurts like bloody Hell. Granted, the sword can cut you, but nunchucks, being solid pieces of wood, will hurt more.

Oh, I don't doubt it. It's just that it seems like the enemy has to be 2 feet in front of you to actually use them, whereas swords - depending on the length, naturally - have a longer reach. It'd be more risky to be Michaelangelo rather than Leonardo, if you get where I'm coming from.

  6. Just noticed an increase in cast including:

    Robert "Freddy" Englund - Riddler

Ron "Hellboy" Perlman - Killer Croc

Frank Gorshin (60's Riddler) - Hugo Strange

Quite impressive vocal cast, though I'll reserve judgement as to whether it'll be better than the Conroy/Hamill led 90s series.

  7. I read the comic the movie is based on. Another reason not to be excited.

Quite, you! Comic book adaptations always blow. A better read would have been the TPBs.

Wasn't X2 based on a particular issue? or can I not understand the subtleties of internet sarcasm?
