  1. I don't know if I've seen the uncut version or not. Could someone say what the differences were?

Taken from the back of my bootleg:

    Bonk is shot.

The Joker gets shot instead of slipping in water/getting electrocuted off screen.

The Joker slices Batman's chest, who bleeds.

Half of the "Our Family Memories" scene is cut from the PG version. (Including a scene where Joker opens a barbeque lid, grabs electrified tongs, and shocks Robin.)

Bruce says, "Robin killed him." (Not, "Robin defeated him.")

There's more, but most are small things.

Then I think I've seen a the uncut version. :)

  2. No Man's Land

It was the heart of the saga of the destruction of Gotham City and it chronicled a little over a year of their time. First was the Contagion that weakened Gotham, then was the Cataclysm that destroyed Gotham and then came the worst of the worst--No Man's Land. Gotham is cut off from the outside world. Food and resources are scarce at best. Villains run amok and take advantage of anyone they can so they can manipulate them into mere tools to keep themselves alive longer. This long saga also sees the death of Sarah Gordon and the rise of the new badass Batgirl. Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne begin their feud here, too. If you never read any Batman story again, read NML. It's a LONG series, but it's well, well worth it.

I found this in novel form at my local library! Was a crackin' read!

  3. I've always preferred BTAS just because it's classic Batman, but I'll give Batman Beyond it's props. It was a good series but it hurt from not establishing a good cast of new villains - the highlights were always the episodes that featured old villains. Ie/ it was interesting that Freeze had survived the whole time and having Ra's Al Ghul was also a logical choice to have.

Return of the Joker was classic. It incorporated the best aspects of the Beyond series with the best Batman villain ever (Hamill rules at characterisation) and a good story. I don't know if I've seen the uncut version or not. Could someone say what the differences were?

  4. '"The" Batman'?  <_<

That's what he was called for a long time. In fact, The Joker refers to him as such a lot.

I know, it's just that saying '"the" Batman' 46 consecutive times gets a bit.....odd

    Oh...! True, that was lame.

Especially if you can only hear the damn thing.....

  5. True but I'll bet that's exactly what they do.  :(

    Yes yes, they probably will.

Never the less, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get to own someone from these Forums in the near future*Or get owned myself, either one will work <_< *.

Oh, you'll be owned, believe me...

    Yes...by me.

    Fear the Kirby --> (>'.')>

I fear no Kirby - my brother always plays as him and I always kick his arse. Bring it on :P

You're sibling is a novice!!! I am the Kirby master!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

    You must fear him: (>'.')>

He started playing when he was 2 - he'd kick your arse no probs. Why does he lose to me then? Because I'm far superior when it comes to Smash Bros. He'll beat me any day of the week at Double dash tho' <_<

Wait, so that would make him...5 years old?

Add about 10 years - he was 2 when he started on the NES.

  8. Whilst an actor's career is ultimately up to them, I think that if you accept the lead role of a comic hero/ recurring villain, then you should be willing to do sequels so as not to spoil consistency.

Having said that, whilst I would have liked Michael Keaton doing more Batman movies, I think he made a wise decision to get out when he did, solely because the Schumacher films took a completely different direction.

  10. Not to quibble, but technically, whichever character's world the two are in will see that character win. Mario wouldn't win in Sonic's world (I doubt he'd be able to get from beginning to end, given the loops Sonic runs through) and Mario would have an obvious advantage in the mushroom kingdom.
