Hey, so i went into my local comic shop and a sign said that they are looking for part time staff. I asked for an application and they gave me one, i haven't filled it out yet, but will later. My problem is that right now I've went through a shitload of applications for jobs, and have been unsuccessful at the interview stage, or they just never got back to me which is normal, i know. I'm here to ask for advice filling out this application, or anything else i should include, to make my application look really good and presentable. My only real experience in working through customer service is working at football games and concerts as a food seller, three years ago. And also working for a supermarket for a month and a bit last October. Please help with this as i really want this job. Thanks anyone who reads and replies.

What!????? well here's a section that interested me: Today we received word that MGM and Phoenix Pictures are close to pegging Darren Aronofsky to direct the latest "remake", which we also discovered is actually a sequel! Here's the logline: Present day Los Angeles, 20 years after the termination of the RoboCop program, the city decides to reinstate the program. If this all happens, I'd love to introduce Aronofsky to THE DARK KNIGHT, where he can see how to do it right... I hope the termination is a result of the shit we went through with robocop two and three! But it might just be a sort of like Rocky Balboa coming out for one last fight. although this is good, that they are acknowledging the fantastic original. Never thought I'd say this, but why don't they just do a reboot and a restart of the series.

This is my review of death proof, i had to cut it down due to size constraints. Please review. Thanks. The Grind house Returns in Rodriguez and Tarantino’s New Double Feature Set to Blow Your Mind!” The film’s main selling point when it first came out was it was a Grind House feature, by that I mean you get two films for the price of one. The other Planet Terror-due for release at any time now, is a very poor Zombie movie that I may get to at a later date, was the other half of this Grind House double feature. This was meant to be a nod to the old theatres that thrived in America in the mid 1970’s that had very cheesy horror and action movies that were of low quality, both in picture and in production values. Death proof thankfully is a very well made nod to these films, again in both the grainy quality and the action sequences that lead up certain points of the movie. Bad points-It seems like Tarantino wants you to just sit back and watch women’s feet for over ten minutes in all! Ten minutes of feet. Why? Well it did nothing to keep me entertained and neither did the endless stories! My god we were treated to a story about one of the woman interested in a guy, who doesn’t show up, then later that night she dies! What!? That is not good, and neither is the fact that the grainy atmosphere becomes clean and fine halfway through for a good while. At the forty minute mark we finally meet the real star of the show, Stuntman Mikes car, and what a car! Yes I loved the look of the car it just screamed evil to me as you almost felt like it was getting the whole thing shifted into high gear, then after about thirteen minutes of fantastic car action where Mike takes his latest victims out, you are then brought to a halt with more inane chatting with women I personally didn’t care about. Then the ending, like a car that’s about to crash was a complete halt, when the words came up the end, I asked is that it? Yes, yes it was. And what BS that was! In the end it may look like I hated Death Proof, the exact opposite except for being slow and after a second viewing I realised it was a fun movie, it had it’s duff moments that would have been remedied by having this and Planet Terror cut together would have made forget all the bad. Just don’t go in expecting pulp fiction! Final words-Enjoyable but flawed, slow paced, worthless dialogue, great action scenes. Fun to enjoy, needs to be watched with your brain turned off. Final score-6 out of 10. A good movie but not worth buying. Rent this or download if you’re that cheap!

As you mentioned the X-men getting released on region 2 DVD i went out and found a link to the amazon page hope this helps anyone who wants it, it's just season one that's being released so far and does not say if it has any extras.

I just found out that two people on my course, or now EX-course, just got their certificates and are pretty much guaranteed for next year. Myself and others are being screwed over because we are not getting told our results and the college is dragging their fucking feet with sending out acceptance/get the fudge out letters. So now, I am believe i am totally fucking screwed.
