I did too, but there was always the question of his race, a couple characters ask if he's Hispanic or black, too.
Edit: Oh! I've seen a couple episodes of The 100, Michelle is a fan. This guy isn't a bad actor.

Constantine: There are a million reasons why this film shouldn't work (making John American, making John Keanu, Shia LaBeuof being a thing, Etc.

It so works! Great cast, fun story, totally underrated.

I'd say his utter lack of personality is more damning, but that's me.
I don't know if anyone on that list screams "Han Solo" to me. Maybe Eastwood, I guess.

Um, how had John Goodman not been mentioned yet? Do a Coen brothers movie (my money is on Barton Fink), something more recent (Monsters Inc., Argo) and most importantly, the Brothers Wison must discuss King Ralph.

As a massive Incredible Herc fan, the idea of Chulk is perfect for me. I'll definitely pick up the TPB, but issue by issue is too rich for my blood.

It's not just the incinerator, the daycare and the evil toys there and Lotso's story and the fact that the puppy was way older than it should have been and the fact that their solution of being saved by Bonnie buys them another decade, maybe.
If I want "life is terrible and everyone you will ever love will leave you and die," there are plenty of movies for that, and I've enjoyed a few of them. That whole nihilistic mentality doesn't work when it's being espoused by a cartoon cowboy and marketed with toddler toys.

Trainwreck: More of the same from Apatow, though redeemed by a fantastic cast. Amy Schumer is hilarious, and Bill Hader might be the most under-appreciated man in show business. John Cena was a delight, as well.
Toy Story 3: I hadn't seen this before tonight and could not have been more disappointed. It's a very well made film, technically speaking. It's got a great cast and fantastic moments of comedy. But it is so unceasingly grim. It's not a movie I want my son to watch. I don't want to watch it a again. I get that Pixar is trying to impart the hard lessons and all, but Jesus, this just wasn't fun to watch.

Merry Christmas, gang!
Tonight I made Cornish game Hens with a honey and tumeric glaze, green beans with seared pork belly and garlic mashed potatoes for the in laws. Michelle finished the meal with a pumpkin Swiss roll. I'll update with gift highlights later. Off to my family's farm tomorrow!

Also, Rey is very proficient in combat. She may have never used a lightsaber before, but she does know how to fight well.

Can i just mention how much I loved the marketing swerve of Finn having the Lightsaber in the posters and trailer and Rey actually being the force sensitive one?

I just assumed Ren was luring Han onto the bridge. He knew Han was there, and knew he'd follow.

Do not click if you haven't seen the film.
Chewbacca walking right past Leia to join the Resistance and let Rey inform her of Han's death really bothered me. It's not a minor nitpick, because I find it egregious, but I really liked almost everything else.

The battle van shooting manhole covers sold me. That and the possibility of watching Tyler Perry painfully mutate into a giant fly, ala Goldblum.
