You know, one of the few things Marvel has gotten really, really right about the X-Movies is translating the look, without making them look goofy. Red eyes would have been goofy. Gambit looks fine.

Meh, Sweeney Todd is the only movie that I've not enjoyed Rickman in. I have no faith in Tim Burton, at all. The man does great things with visuals, but is very, very hit or miss with his actors.

Kirby was relevant and important in the 60's and 70's. I can't possibly deny that. Trying to be him in 2008, however, is a terrible, terrible move.
