Some terrible news for fans of Discworld creator Terry Pratchett has been diagnosed with Alzheimers. From his website Folks, I would have liked to keep this one quiet for a little while, but because of upcoming conventions and of course the need to keep my publishers informed, it seems to me unfair to withhold the news. I have been diagnosed with a very rare form of early onset Alzheimer's, which lay behind this year's phantom "stroke". We are taking it fairly philosophically down here and possibly with a mild optimism. For now work is continuing on the completion of Nation and the basic notes are already being laid down for Unseen Academicals. All other things being equal, I expect to meet most current and, as far as possible, future commitments but will discuss things with the various organisers. Frankly, I would prefer it if people kept things cheerful, because I think there's time for at least a few more books yet ) PS I would just like to draw attention to everyone reading the above that this should be interpreted as 'I am not dead'. I will, of course, be dead at some future point, as will everybody else. For me, this maybe further off than you think - it's too soon to tell. Thats a pity I was starting to get into it. The exact same thing happened with Traveller, the network let the contacts with the actors lapse so the show won't be renewed according to the series creator and he was not happy about how the network screwed the show when they had ordered an 13 ep series and when they were shooting eps 7 and 8 the network said they were dropping the order to eight.

I liked Avengers Disassembled quite a lot, I just wish there had been more build up to it rather than Bendis took over and broke the team up so he rebuild the team in his vision, they had an interesting character in the new Captain Britian and were going in the direction of a Hawkeye Wasp romance and a Cap Wanda romance and then it was all dropped so Bendis could blow up Ant Man and co.

I don't know the whole Linderman being Adam's discliple seems to be a plot hole. Why would the others let Linderman get control of the company if he was just as bad as Adam? Why wouldn't he have released Adam from prison? Bob mentioned it to Nathan in one of the episodes, plus you have to remember than Linderman had the support of Mrs Petreli and several others where no longer involved with the company like Hiro's dad and Charles

What if Adam gets injected with the virus and its mutates into the strain thats wipes out 93% of the world? Adam's got way to much of a god complex to want to die. Nice nod to Linderman being Adam's disciple by mentioning that he had inside help
