...This may just be me reading it in an odd way, but if they are implying what I think they're implying, then I'd be hella interested to see how they handle it. I know a bunch of us were thinking about doing a limited-run podcast covering the Miyazaki movies, but then life and last term happened. Though, if people are still interested, my life is freeing up somewhat significantly this term.

I mean, hell, the only way I found out about this was them telling me the other day that Mom and Dad were in marriage counseling. They know a hell of a lot more than I do about all of this. And Mom just came out to them about all of this tonight, when the girls have known for I think months now. I guess its more a question of, how do I be there for them when I don't have a damn clue what's going on and they do?

What's the best way to reach you? I lost some stuff with the Mac crash back in June, but it's nothing that can't be replaced.

Apologies if this sounds like a pity party, but. It's been confirmed by Mom that the parents are in marriage counseling. Divorce may be a possibility. Now, I'm more or less on the periphery, what with college and all, but the younger two girls are dealing first and foremost with this. Any advice from those of you who've dealt with this as to how to help them process stuff?

For anime stuff, I'd be more than happy to contribute more (I don't know if you got some of the stuff I've been sending, if you haven't, apologies for my fail). Also, in terms of cons, I'd still be open to covering ACen 2010 (and to drag you along to prove it's gotten better ). For videogames, my life will be freeing up siginificantly these next few terms, would be happy to do some reviews. Okay, today needs to be done now. For serious. So, seven-thirty-ish this morning, I'm driving to work, tra la la la la. I'm going thirty-five around a sharp curve in the middle of the woods, I start fishtailing and I end up going twenty feet off the road into a ditch and take out a sign with me. Physical damage to car is a small dent in the passenger side door and then as we were getting it towed out of the ditch we heard this clunking noise, and the guy thinks there's something wrong with the belt. And on top of all of this, the car that we thought was fixed last week wasn't, and is now having radiator problems on top of fucking everything today, so we are completely carless atm. Gonna go rock/scream in a corner now. Also, hate driving in winter so goddamn much. And now my parents are fighting on the phone. Again.

The Twilight series lends itself wonderfully to drinking games. Just sayin'.

So. Apparently the fighting that I've seen/heard between my parents is a lot worse than I thought it was. My second littlest sister just mentioned the fact that they're possibly in marriage counseling.

I think the logic is assuming you're able to get through the whips? What's left vulnerable (part of the arms that are hard to reach, parts of the stomach) aren't exactly the first things you'd try to shoot at.

What area, and how long?

Apparently it depends on where you are; we're on the border of our county, and now they're saying eight to thirteen. Supposed to be worse in the SE of the state (where I am at home) rather than the middle where you are. Either way, more than enough to probably cancel school for the girls tomorrow. ..I may have to get photos of puppy in snow drifts higher than she is.
