  1. This sounds awesome, for the reasons stated above. Angsty teenage Bruce would be hilarious.
  2. Well, I've really got nothing else to do until school starts again so I figure I might as well watch it.
  3. Watched the first 4 episodes of Dollhouse. So far I'm fairly interested, but I've heard it gets better pretty soon, so I'll keep watching.
  4. I finished submitting all college apps today AND my parents just came home with new car. We're now proud owners of a silver Prius!
  5. Cars has Paul Newman in it, which automatically makes it NOT the worst Pixar film.

I've just been officially admitted to UC Davis. Probably not going to end up going there, but hey, I got into college!
  7. Dr. Strangelove - very cool movie. I've been meaning to see this for about a year now and I really enjoyed it. (Also, James Earl Jones! Awesome!)

I expected our school choir concert would be pretty good tonight. What I did not expect was to see the choir teacher's pants fall down as he was in the middle of conducting the last song. It was kind of awesome.
  10. Yeah it got me also. I expected to hate it, but it's pretty funny. Yeah, I was incredibly skeptical at first, but my brother wasn't, apparently, and he made me watch it this week when he came home for Thanksgiving.
  11. Okay, Outsourced is pretty funny. And as an Indian myself, I've definitely experienced some of the things in the show. The Indian head shake comes to mind immediately. (Seriously, it could mean anything.) Also, Diedrich Bader is awesome.
  12. I'll embrace everything except Angel's godawful clothes in season 1. Those were just bad.
  13. Applying to college is stressful.
  14. Slap Bet and Swarley are tied for my two favorite episodes, personally. Robin Sparkles is awesome. I'm so psyched. =D
  15. Just saw It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. Both were excellent. I am so ready for Christmas. =D

The weirdest thing just happened at my friend's Halloween party. So we were all at my friend's house playing this totally awesome game called Murder. The front door was unlocked because we kept opening the door for trick-or-treaters, and my friend's parents were out of the house taking her little sisters out to trick-or-treat. So we're all playing this game when the front door opens and these guys dressed in full-body camo outfits and Guy Fawkes masks (like the ones in V for Vendetta) come in. I figure it's some of my friend's little brother's buddies, so I'm a little weirded out but not really scared, because why would these people walk into a house if they didn't know the people who lived there? These five guys (and one girl) start walking around and standing in front of us (and not saying anything), and it quickly becomes apparent that no one knows who the HELL these people are. (We do know that at least one of them goes to our school.) My friend the host calls her older brother over to get these people out of the house. One of the masked guys randomly HUGS him, which was totally weird. Of course, my friend's brother is in college and over 6 feet tall, so he just stares this guy down and tells him to get the hell out of his house. These people all leave and about five minutes later we realize that they stole all of our candy. Then my friend's little sisters got home from their trick-or-treating and one of them started crying because she heard what happened and thought that they were going to come back and rob them. What. The. FUCK. (Yes. I said FUCK. I do not often use that word, so you know it must be bad.) Seriously, WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?
  17. Our school magazine came out on Friday (yay!) and now it's time to market my article. It's about vampires, so I know you all want to read it. =) Bonus: It comes with a very special cartoon featuring everyone's second-favorite* vampire - Spike! Defanged: The death of the vampire myth (I know there's a serious lack of italicizing book/movie/etc titles. I have no idea how to edit a story after it's been published, but I'm working on it.) *Angel FTW.
  18. True. I almost stopped watching after the first couple of minutes when I saw it for the first time, but my sister's friend was insistent that I keep going for just a few minutes more. Good thing, too. (At this point I was completely unfamiliar with Whedon's work.)

It isn't easy, is it? That picture in my previous post is the first one I've ever been able to post online. It's not exactly that for me, because I'm pretty good at basic Photoshop in general, but when it comes to Macs the whole experience in general is just different and kind of slow and awkward compared to the PC version I'm used to. I guess I'll have to get used to it, though. I'm on the school magazine this year and we're going to have at least 5 (6?) more production cycles throughout the year after this/next week and all the school computers are Macs. That is awesome.

Using Photoshop on a Mac is one of the most annoying things ever. I can't use any of the keyboard shortcuts that I'm used to on my PC because on the Macs they all use the damn apple key. And it doesn't help that the school computers all have crappy keyboards, anyway.
  21. Done with the SATs forever. SUCCESS.
  22. Just ordered the Angel Collector's Set on Amazon. 5 seasons for $50. What a freaking deal. I'm so psyched. =D
  23. God, being a senior in high school sucks.
  24. Yeah, the end of season 1 has some great episodes. Season 2 is my favorite, personally.
  25. Psych is awesome, and White Collar is pretty good, too. (Matt Bomer! He has a cool hat. That's not why I watch the show, though...I mean, not entirely...)
