Not quite. He had an episode last season but that's about it. He was entirely absent during the "Fugitives" arc since it was, let's say it together, convenient for the plot. I don't know how to react to the new season yet. On one hand, I was interested by some of the plot points. On the other, I was interested by the first couple of episodes of "Villains" and we all know how that spiraled down towards the end. I reserve judgment on this season until we're at least a quarter in.

Smith's comic book writing is variable at best to me. He's at his best when the editorial staff gives him some room to play around with, to set a status quo or when he's working with his own characters. For example, his runs on Daredevil and Green Arrow effectively relaunched the characters after either death or a period of languishing in obscurity. Then take his recent Batman minis or the Spider-Man/Black Cat mini he did for Marvel a few years back. In both cases, Smith is working with stories that were barely in continuity and he is given almost limitless amounts of space to mess around with. In the case of Black Cat, we get a pointless rape back story added to Felicia Hardings character. In the case of Cacophony, we get a Batman that doesn't quite shut up. If Smith has a real ongoing, I would probably read it but minis, probably not.

So far another day hasn't passed as far as I can tell. The same with all the minis and tie-ins.

That is, quite possibly, the best thing I have ever seen Rogers and Hammerstein show involvement with.

Neil Patrick Harris was an excellent Emcee. Seriously, just stellar. Something is also to be said for the Dr. Horrible sequence during the ceremony as well.

Few places have true live inventories. The only ones that do are huge online stores where all they have people who's job is just to refresh what's available or not. Still, at least they called to ask you rather than just auto-subbing. Even if you get something better, auto-subbing can be kinda annoying.

Suggestion if you start debating on which Green Lantern to use, use all four earth based ones and they're the hall monitors? None of them have to have power rings, they're just background characters mostly and then, later on, give them one ring that they have to take turns using. The other thing to keep in mind, since this sound like a satire of shows on the CW, the networks usually want a new series to include at least one minority character and you only have one female lead so two birds, one stone, use either Mari McAbe (Vixen) or an make Zatanna Asian. Either that or Jefferson Pierce (Black Lightning) is the Principal.

Perhaps if the Justice Leaguers we see a lot of (The Big Three, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Flash) are the cool kids then the lesser known ones (Zatanna, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Elongated Man, The Atom, Barbara Gordon, Booster Gold [Drama geek], and Blue Beetle) are the out crowd? If Darkseid is the math teacher, Granny Goodness is the cheerleading coach perhaps? For that matter, Lex Luthor, student body president?

Was that story going to include the Crime Syndicate? I can't remember; it's been so long since then. Yeah. I almost think that this might be a rewrite of Justice League: Worlds Collide (The title of the canceled film.). Then again, I can only guess.

If they do a Secret Six tie-in, Black Lantern Parademon would rock because Ragdoll did have him stuffed. For that matter, if they have a Black Lantern Knockout, then that means New Gods can be effected and the danger level goes up another degree.

I take it that this project kills the in continuity Justice League movie that would take place between JL and JLU that Dini had mentioned three or four times prior?
