  1. This one. It's crap!

Oh my god, that does suck. And that's the song that goes with the opening video BTW. The Japanese version is sooooo much better.

There's also another backwards part you missed.

"wonk uoy nath noitceffa rome deen i."

"I need more affection than you know."

  2. Mononoke I actually don't mind in English. For all his other movies I've seen I'd agree with you, James. Especially for Howl's Moving Castle(Calcifer's voice alone made the dub horrible).

As for my favorite creators OTHER than Miyazaki:

Shirow Masamune - creator of Ghost in the Shell

Kazunori Ito, Koichi Mashimo, and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto - creators of .hack, among other things.

Tetsuya Watanabe - see Kscriv's post

Rumiko Takahashi - see Kscriv's post + Maison Ikkoku

  3. Loved the new video James. I'll have to put the series on my list of animes to find(right now it's about 10th priority on my list). I love the song you chose as well. It seemed a nice fit to the anime.

I hope that Kscriv's upcoming AMV has this big a reaction. It would be nice to have more Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien fans.

The shit that sometimes goes on at the WAC is hilarious in it's pervertedness, I wont go into it. And Skyre, if you do I snap your neck.

    Don't worry, I won't.

And then there was the time I brought my ex-girlfriend, that is the one I will never speak of.

lol. That was a great time

  4. well... You can use a gamecube controller. That's at least closer to a normal controller.

Back to the main question, I do not have a 360 but I do enjoy playing on my friend's system. Quite often we duke it out in Perfect Dark or do co-op missions in Kameo. He also recently bought Oblivion and I'll have a chance to try that out tomorrow.

  5. I can only think of a few that aren't in DW's long list.

    Goblin's Quest

    Commander Keen

    A Fork in the Tale

    Sherlock

    Hugo's House of Horrors

    Jewels of the Oracle

    The Incredible Machine

Sid and Al's Incredible Toons(basically a cartoon version of T.I.M.)

And Even though they still make the occasional game for this series, I would like to see a collection of the Lunar games.

  6. The first comic I remember reading was Sonic the Hedgehog, Special 25th Issue: Sonic vs. Mecha Sonic; Sonic CD Adaptation.

Sonic's friends, Tails and Amy Rose(first comic book appearance!), were being held hostage(Tails - Caught over Robotnik's airspace; Amy Rose - Kidnapped after Robotnik stole a bag of Archie Comics fan-mail for Sonic) and the only way Sonic could save them was to race against Mecha Sonic in the Stardust Speedway Zone(Although not before going through the Collision Chaos Zone[sonic CD Zone 2] first). After that and a double-pack with issues 20 and 21 I was hooked on Sonic Comics.

I continued to buy Sonic comics (I even had a subscription for a while), as well as almost all of the Super Specials and backorders of issues 1-7, until around #45 which was when the local Mac's stopped selling the series. During a brieftrip to the states I managed to pick up issue #50 EndGame in which Dr. Robotnik gets trapped in another dimension.

Mac's started selling the comics again around issue #60, but the comics had gotten really boring without Robotnik, so I stopped buying them. By the time it finally got interesting again I had no idea what was going on because I had missed so many.

Another one of my favorites is the Sonic Super Special #7. They Freedom Fighters end up getting transported to another dimension that had various super-heros in it. They had to team up with these heros in order to retrieve the Floating Island's chaos emerald and get back home. Following the team and investigating what was happening(basically a way to tell the storyline after the fact) were the agents Scolder and Mully.

Nowadays I don't really read comics that often except for my monthly issue of Shonen Jump and the occasional graphic novel.

  7. Since Zephyr was the closest I'll give the next question to him.

-edit- The answer was "The number 5639"

Since it is being put into a string, and there are no brackets, the plus sign simply puts the numbers at the end of the string instead of adding them first. I know it doesn't make sense(As well as most things in Java), but that's how strings work in Java.

  8. Zephyr was very close. If I was printing it out directly it would appear like that. However, I'm putting it into a string first, which doesn't add the numbers on the end.

  9. Yay. Thank you chemistry class.

In Java programming, if ("The number 56" + 3 + 9) was inputted into a string and then the string was displayed on the screen, what text would appear on the screen?

P.S. sorry it took me so long to post my question. I've been busy this week. If I ever take more than 2 days to post then somebody else can take my question.

  10. I finally got around to watching more of this series. Just as I was beginning to understand things(I think), they go back into Tokyo and things get even more confusing than ever.

Then I got around to episode 19(Blue Friend a.k.a. Ticket to Nowhere[just finished watching it so it's stuck in my mind right now]) and... well, I don't even know what to say about the end of the episode. It just took my breath away. If it lasted 10 seconds longer I guaranty I would have cried.

This is beginning to move up on my list of favorite anime. If you like anime and can withstand a few headaches, I suggest watching this series. Don't buy it right away, it's definitely not for everyone, but worth a rental if you have a local anime store.

I think I'll stop there now that my mind has settled down enough for me to sleep.

  11. I have no clue what the answer to this question is, but I just want to point out that it is not confirmed wether or not Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK. We'll have to wait two or three more years for the U.S. government to reveal all the information on the case.

  12. This is for trivia that doesn't fit into any other catagories.

The same rules that are in the other trivia threads apply here.

    First Question:

In Magic:The Gathering, what is the general name for the multiverse?
