  1. The last question for the Anime Fortnight, "What do you think is the wierdest anime ever?"

Personally I'll have to go with BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo.

This is the story of a guy who fights bald criminals with his nosehair. And did I mention that his sidekick is a giant Pop-Rocks candy. Before I saw this I didn't think that anything would ever out-do the wierdness that is Puni Puni Poemi

Puni Puni Poemi would definitely be the 2nd (a very close second, I might add) wierdest anime I've ever seen. This is made by Koshi Rikudo, the maker of Excell Saga. Basically throw together a couple of Sailer Scout wannabees, a giant robot, lesbian children, and a talking fish and this is what you'll get. Absolutely no point in trying to find some semblance of a storyline here folks. What the company says after the credits is very true; "If this show didn't offend you in any way, we weren't trying hard enough."

Excell Saga is taking 3rd place on my list. This is a hilarious show about a 3 person organization trying to take over the world. Very little plot (although a lot more than Bo-BoBo and Poemi) yet very funny.

  2. And yes Keith, only you like Mystic Quest.  To which I say WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!

I dunno, I just didn't mind the game. It doesn't come close to being the best FF game I've ever played, but I sure don't regret the time I spent with it.

Now Crystal Chronicles... that game sucked.

You have now lost the remaining thread of respect I had for you.

  3. Today's question asks, "What is your favorite anime quote?"

I can be a meaningful line, a funny line, or just some stupid line that always seems to get stuck inyour head. The choice is yours.

My personal favorite is a line from Full Metal Alchemist:

"Get too close to the sun and you're gonna get burned."

  4. Yet another thread for anime week. Today's question is, "what is your favorite scene in any anime and why do you like it?"

Mine is from the ending of Gundam SEED.

SPOILERS WARNING! SPOILERS WARNING! THAT'S DIRECTED AT YOU KSCRIV!!

Kira is battling it out with Le Creuset. Le Creuset fires at the space shuttle that Flay is on. Kira is reminded of the time that he wasn't able to save all of those innocent people in the space shuttle in episode 14. Just as the bullet is about to hit the shuttle, Kira arrives just in time to block the shot with the arm of the Freedom Gundam. He is relieved, but that makes him not notice the stray shot from a nearby battle that is headed towards Flay's shuttle. The shuttle blows up and Flay dies(/hooray). After a short vision Kira goes into a HYPER SEED mode. He goes ballistic on Le Creuset, easily dodging the 30 shots-a-second being fired at him from different angles and blowing up a few of the laser guns as well. After a very long(and very awesome) battle he finally kills Le Creuset. Only to be directly hit by ZAFT's giant "GENESIS" weapon(powerful enough to destroy all life on Earth).

Although definitely not the most meaningful scene in Gundam SEED, the battle was just so awesome that it became one of my favorite parts in the series. There were also many other great parts in the last 2 episodes, like Mu La Flaga sacrificing himself to save Ramius and the rest of the Archangel crew.

    END SPOILERS

  5. Since nobody has used this thread in a while I'll post a new question.

WARNING! WARNING! POSSIBLE GUNDAM SEED SPOILERS AHEAD! IF YOU ARE KSCRIV DO NOT READ BELOW!

In Gundam SEED, what character is Le Creuset related to?

  6. Online games always use up a lot of time. So I have to say Final Fantasy XI:Online.

I must have had over 2 weeks play time with that game. And the sad thing is, I only got to level 31.

the biggest time-suckers out of my non-online games would have to be...

Monster Rancher 2 at about 120 hours(can't check for sure because the disk has been missing for 2 years :( )

and Azure Dreams at about 90-100ish hours.

I have a feeling that Radiata Stories will soon be on my list.
