  1. Welcome to The Timecast!

    UPDATES: We have a logo!

We (I mean I, I am having a guest co-host each week until I get solid co-host) are a podcast dedicated to commentating on any media we feel like, be it Movies, TV Series, or Video Games. The schedule consists of one episode per week (Not weekly, but at least one episode per week.). With a format of commentary on episodes of TV series except for every fifth episode where we will commentate on a movie or start a movie series. (First series will be started with Back to the Future on episode 5.

I have the pilot uploaded here for torrent download. So for right now episodes will be released through torrent until I get a iTunes feed going (Should be soon).

IMPORTANT NOTES!: I say "commentary" near the beginning when I meant to say subtitles. Also the email for the podcast is NOT I repeat NOT timecast@yahoo.com, it is thetimecast@yahoo.com. If you start sending email to the former, some poor sap is going to be wondering when he ever started a podcast.

Welcome to the first episode/pilot/prototype of The Timecast. In our ("our" being myself and Michael Sims) debut we will be reviewing Star Trek: First Contact, so you will need either the DVD or a downloaded version. Since this is the pilot you will no doubt notice my horrible voice work: saying "and, uh, and like" a lot along with a very slow baritone voice with almost no emotion. Don't worry! I've learned from this experience so the next episode should be much more pleasant for your ears! Also be aware that you may need to skip forwards about ten seconds if you think you're not in sync with us. Last note is that some of the editing and audio quality may not be up to par. With this new software I have it should be a lot better quality next podcast.

. Sadly the rick-roll was taken down by Paramount.

NEXT TIME: Justice League UNLIMITED: The Great Brain Robbery!

    Special Thanks to:

  2. You guys are thirded on the Supergirl arc, I loved the story and the artwork alot. It also got me interested into reading Kryptonese

(Made Superman: Secret Origins #2 have a lot more meaning)

. However, some things would need to be tweaked quite a bit. The whole harbinger character may have to be scrapped or altered to provide comprehension to people who haven't read CoIE.

  3. But still, that was Mystique, and her consciousness was still inside the rock version of herself up until the moment that the stone shattered. So for all intents and purposes Rogue murdered her "mother", on a children's show no less.

  4. I believe I've seen the last two seasonsish of the 90's show, if you don't know much about those characters it's gonna be very hard to follow. Evolution on the other is very easy to get into. All in all I would compare the two with Batman:TAS vs the rest the the DCAU. And Evolution has had some really dark stuff, for instance

    Rogue kills Mystique

    . I <3 Evolution.

  5. Easily GOTY. It's even better when you think of all the Batman games before it, and how the gameplay almost homages to that. The feel is perfect. The gadgets are practical without being gimmicky. All the characters are particularly well done and all fit. (I really like Scarecrow's new look). Only thing that was missing were multiple batsuits you could unlock to play through the game again with. I guess that's just a personal nitpick based on Batman Begins (The Video Game).

  6. Been watching Psych (IMO one of if not the best show out there right now). Picked up MONK again for the last few episodes (seriousness is great, once they try to get into comedy... meh it just doesn't work.) And last show that I'm watching that's actually airing is Smallville. Also waiting for the next season of Eureka and Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars coming out Dec 19th.
