Venneh
Jesus. I've seen that episode; in reruns, but, still. ... Yeah. We're old. Conclusion: alcohol to take care of that after shift.
KnightWing
I've come to the conclusion that I really like All-Star Batman and Robin, just as a crazy parody of insanely over-the-top comic book storytelling. Dan Phillips from IGN insists that Frank Miller (while still being utterly crazy) is purposely crafting a big, dumb story that makes little sense but is really fun as a stupid thrillride. And I'm totally cool with that. So yeah, screw all the comics nerds who need to constantly take Batman so seriously. Let him laugh maniacally at criminals before making out with Black Canary for awhile. Also, it has has Superman and Wonder Woman making out. That's all I need. Molly
...I don't think I love you any more. I mean, like the Jim Lee art. Hell, like the harder edge on Batman. But the dialog and the writing are so mind numbingly bad, that I want to reach into the page and choke Batman.
KnightWing
That's where I just start laughing. What does annoy me are the text boxes that endlessly repeat themselves over and over again. But then when those pop up, I just start staring at the art and forget about it.

Stavros
I'm talking to myself. That's never a good sign- All Star Batman
KnightWing
I'm pretty sure everyone in that book talks to themselves. It's creepy and funny at the same time.
Stavros
I didn't mind that gimmick in the first few issues of Superman/Batman but it's WAY overused now. Not every comic needs the internal narrations of a noir gumshoe thriller.

Stavros
How is it that I'm sat alone in my room surfing forums, drinking white wine, eating a cheese and chutney baguette and watching Torchwood and yet tonight I still feel socially superior to the raucous group of hardcore D&Ders downstairs? Guest
Going through some old reviews, I just noticed that you get this if you click a bad link. Very clever, Sims.

JackFetch
This guy takes WWII pictures and blends them with modern pictures of the same place. It's pretty surreal. http://sergey-larenkov.livejournal.com/
