RSS
When I heard about the release of a direct-to-DVD animated film called Hulk Vs., I thought to myself, "That sounds about right." But, after hearing of all the good Marvel Animation has been doing with properties like Next Avengers and Doctor Strange, I was more than interested. And the inclusion of Wolverine and Thor on the other side of the abbreviated "versus" in the title promised carnage. Missy
From what I can tell, I seem to be one of the few people who enjoyed the Wolverine segment more than the Thor one, but maybe that's because I'm not a huge fan of Thor.
Mull
I agree with Yoda, the Thor part just seemed to drag for me to be honest
KnightWing
I think I enjoyed Wolverine more for the action, but Thor had an actual story (and some great action as well). I tend to go back and forth over which I like more.
Dread
Yikes..."there own"? My bad. Thanks for the correcting my supposition Yoda but where the hell else does Wendigo appear in animation? I need it. Bad.
KnightWing
...where the hell else does Wendigo appear in animation? I need it. Bad. He appears in both the 90s Hulk animated TV series as well as an episode of Wolverine and the X-men (which is a watered-down semi-sequel to Hulk Vs.). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wendigo_(comics)#Television
Dread
Ah. I have seen neither. This will soon be rectified.
SuaveStar
Good work sir. Going to watch these again later tonight after reading this and say my thoughts as first time round I just ignored the Thor story as I didn't know the character. KnightWing
...the Thor story as I didn't know the character. God of Thunder. Son of Odin. BIG HAMMER. That's all you need to know.
James D.
I liked both segments in different ways. Thor's animation and story were damn good, and Wolverine's id-stroking entertainment factor and nonstop brutality were just fun as hell. I can watch either one at any time and be entertained.
