Stavros
Was Superwoman Mary Marvel? I say this because I thought she was alternate Wonder Woman, but Diana pretty clearly brawled with Evil-Wondy and Superwoman's Henchman had a pretty clear resemblance to a bearded Cap. Marvel, Cap Marvel Jr. and Uncle Marvel. Superwoman is Lois Lane in that universe, and an Amazon by birth like Wonder Woman. That's tough to explain in an animated feature though. Also owls are badass-
SuaveStar
They never really explained the made men, so can someone say who the hell they are? Also, I thought Superwoman was supposed to be with Ultraman, but shagging Owlman behind his back. Wasn't that in the comics?
Molly
They never really explained the made men, so can someone say who the hell they are? You could infer a lot of them. Lobo, Green Arrow, Black Canary, The Marvels, Elongated Man.

Molly
They were a bearded Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel Junior and Uncle Marvel. They strafed the sky with lightning and I'm reasonably sure that Uncle Marvel said "Shazam!" on the Watchtower.

Guest DCAUFan1051
Just watched this through Amazon rental. It's pretty badass. I can definitely see the ties that were cut from DCAU continuity. Mark Harmon was a awesome Superman voice.
Molly
Yeah, switch John for Hal and you have this: -A League with no Hawkgirl -Rebuilding the Watchtower -Batman's "Recruitment Drive" -How Diana got her invisible jet -Luthor in prison. It's clearly a reworking of what Timm and Co. set between JL and JLU.

KnightWing
Actually, the script was originally written for JL/JLU several years ago. They just switched out John for Hal in this final version. I actually kinda put this film into the DCAU canon, with a few minor mental adjustments. Heck, that actually explains a lot, such as how Superman already knew about parallel Earths (from "A Better World" and "Legends").
NightAngle04
Well that was shit. When was the decision made to stop caring about story and just show tons and tons of Fight scenes?

When they realised that James Woods was made of awesome.
S-T
The day after I saw this movie, I read a news story about a teenager who allowed a bunch of men to gang-rape her 7 year old stepsister, for money. My first thought was that I am thankful that God is infinitely more merciful than I am. (It is Good Friday, after all.) If I were the Creator, I would wipe the planet clean and start over. My second thought was that the Owlman character has a really good point.
