JackFetch
Wrath of the Titans trailer. I think it looks pretty badass.
KnightWing
The last one had an INCREDIBLE trailer, but was ultimately pretty bad. Here's hoping this one is better.
MaxPower
Was the soundtrack Manson? I agree it looks pretty good, still haven't seen the first one, maybe because I didn't think they could live up to God of War.
KnightWing
The trailer to Prometheus, the (sort of?) prequel to Alien. WOW.
Stavros
Yup, looks good.
dc20willsave
Going to the theater and watching a couple of movies. Hugo, My Week With Marilyn, The Descendants, and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Just wondering which one.
Aaron Robinson
I guess it depends on what sort of mood you're in.
SuaveStar
I don't know why, but after seeing the trailer, I feel like I have to go see Meryl Streep in The Iron Lady. She really scares me in this trailer.
dc20willsave
I cannot wait for The Iron Lady. I also cannot wait for the inevitable horror movie mash-up.
Gareth
The Adventures of Tintin - The animation was brilliant, it was literally some of the best I've ever seen, absolutely incredible! But that's about it...
Venneh
Bunraku - streaming on Netflix. Go watch this. Now. A lot of unexpected big names combined with a blend of Westerns and samurai genres with just a dash of postapocalyptic tropes, and with heavy use of bunraku puppetry in scene transitions and backgrounds and narration (look it up), and you have the most awesome, intriguing film that I've seen in quite a while. Also, Ron Perlman.

Koete
I get a real METROPOLIS feel from that, which is a plus in my book.
KnightWing
A friend asked me rhetorically why the movie "This Means War" is going to be awesome. I immediately said "it's Bane vs. Kirk." Then I thought about it, and realized that Tom Hardy also played the younger clone of Captain Picard in Star Trek Nemesis, so it's also Kirk vs. Picard. Stavros
It's the most random show to have a movie of but I'm down with this.
JackFetch
I caught one show and didn't get it. I didn't find it that funny despite the good cast.
dc20willsave
Rob Marshal has been tapped by Disney to direct an adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods. http://deadline.com/2012/01/disney-sets-rob-marshall-to-direct-adapation-of-into-the-woods/ If it weren't Disney, I would be excited. However, considering the musical is a send up of Disney, it does give me a alight problem.
Venneh
And, you know, it's Sondheim, and they take the original Grimm ending for Cinderella, what with the pecking the eyes out and cutting off of heels, etc. And the sex. And lots of other stuff. I'd love to see a movie adaption of Into the Woods. But that it's Marshall and Disney make me give it the side eye. Marshall can make some very pretty productions (see: Chicago and Memoirs of a Geisha). But as far as adaptations go? He's not really got the greatest record there. MaxPower
Awesome. I'm assuming that the % share of profits is on going, not just for the original release? If so, maybe Mark Hamill is a really gifted actor and just decided to retire early

MaxPower
I remember a few years ago when I was excited about the new trend for movies to be more based in reality, without a clearly defined good vs evil, or without wrapping things up in a neat little package. Watching too many of these sort of movies though is kinda tiring.
KnightWing
I think part of the problem with a lot of "realistic" stories is that they have an unwritten moral rule that there can be no moral rules. So basically you just get the inverse of the previously-established simplistic good vs evil storytelling style, and end up with something just as ridiculous but more depressing.
