Guest
There's currently a petition to get Virtua Fighter 5R ported to consoles. It amazes me that Sega went through all the effort of making an update, but now I have to beg them for the right to give them money to play it. Venneh
I'm onto the second book of Odin Sphere. Love this game, so much.
KnightWing
How disappointed are we talkin' here? Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 disappointed? Not quite. Basically, it's just not much fun. Star Wars was great because the endless destruction and puzzle-solving were simplistic, yet fun. Batman is frustratingly boring because you don't have force powers or a lightsaber. Basically, imagine playing as the gunslinger characters in Lego Star Wars... without their guns. The puzzle-solving is a thousand times more frustrating, too. It's like they took Lego Star Wars and systematically found each and every way they could to make it less streamlined. The music is great, though. grahamvidger
I haven't played it for a while, but Lego Batman was mostly just trying to jump over some wall and kill monster plants by poison ivy, then their was everything you could break, but all that building and stuff wasn't as good as it was in star wars. You could get all sorts of suits for the characters which was cool, and get nightwing and batgirl to hop around the batcave all crazily. The arkham asylum exploration really wasn't that great. SuaveStar
You know, I picked up the complete Lego Star Wars, and the original trilogy, just wasn't that much fun to play. Also, Lego Batman was short, harmless fun. I stress short though.
KnightWing
You know, I picked up the complete Lego Star Wars, and the original trilogy, just wasn't that much fun to play. If you have a six-year-old nearby, play it with him. It's twice as much fun when you've got co-op going on.
SuaveStar
I picked up Bayonetta for £25 today in ASDA. I wasn't planning on getting it right now, but £25, it seemed to good to pass up.
Guest
From Yahoo. -Old Nintendo system sells for $13,105 Everyday folk discovering colossally valuable collectors' items amid everyday junk has been the lifeblood of antiques shows for years, but it's not every day you see a real-life gold-in-the-attic tale play out on eBay. Last week, North Carolina eBay user lace_thongs35 thought she was putting up an everyday, 80s-era Nintendo Entertainment System (together with five games) up on the popular auction site. But less than an hour after the first bid, the price was over $6,000 -- and on Wednesday, when the auction closed, the final selling price topped $13,000. Why? Not the console itself, but one of the games bundled with it -- a deeply obscure 1987 release called Stadium Events, a highly sought-after collectors' item. But it wasn't even the game itself that was worth the bulk of the money -- it was the original cardboard box, which collectors value at a breathtaking $10,000. Fewer than 10 complete copies of the game are thought to exist, and retro gaming aficionados consider it one of the hardest-to-find NES games ever made. Bet you're wishing you hadn't let Mom throw out your Nintendo collection now, eh? Stadium Events is the second rarest NES game there is. Only about a dozen exist at this point. It could take years before another one surfaces.
James D.
I think I need to go sift through my brother's closet to check out our extensive collection of NES games... What is the rarest NES game anyway?
Guest
A gold 1990 Nintendo World Championships cartridge. They made 26. Only about a dozen ever surfaced. They can go for as much as $20,000. They're considered one of the holy grails of game collecting.

JackFetch
Anyone playing Dante's Inferno? I get excited every time I see the commercial for it, and then I remember I'm not a fan of Devil May Cry and the God of War games. It really is an awesome though.
