  1. Good rewrite. If you're cool with it, I'll run this one between noon and 2:00p (CT) Sunday.
  2. You're right, DJ. This section is modeled very much after the RCC, where we can give each other feedback and pieces will indeed be spotlighted -- such as this one.
  3. No worries right now, 'cause I'm sitting on both your Origin and JLA: Secret Origins reviews. Plus, I still have It's a Bird, The Village, and Punisher: The End to mow through.
  4. This one is so true. So true.
  5. That's what you get for laughing at me, you damn dog!!
  6. I just marked out at the memory! Are you talking about combat for the Atari 2600? You could play as tanks, biplanes and jets. I don't remember if there were any other vehicles. Yeah! Combat!
  7. Yup. Despite the fact that the show was set in San Francisco, it was filmed in Vancouver.
  8. Yo quite right. The success of the GB was hinged on Tetris, 'cause that initial Mario game blew.
  9. While Tetris is very addicting and is widely considered to be the most addicting video game ever, I have to go with Dr. Mario. As each level began anew and the viruses piled hire and hire, I found myself closer and closer to the edge of my seat and couldn't stop playing -- even after losing. I had to try it again. And again. And again.
  10. DJ reviewed JLA: Strength in Numbers. As you can all see, the schedule has been thrown out of whack. But no worries, because everything listed will be published -- just the order has changed.
  11. Though I have purchased a few (for Pokemon and both of the N64 Zelda games), I prefer not to use them. However, sometimes I do have to take a peek online when I'm stuck. Because I was feeling cheap and had already beaten the game, I perused the Mario Sunshine guide at the bookstore to help me find some of those elusive shine sprites.
  12. That's what I mean. So, assuming time travel is involved, no matter who goes back or forward, my vote goes to Indy. He's older and has much more experience.
  13. Like the question says: Which was more addicting?
  14. Here's one of these for Leno: :respect:
  15. I think that's what the med kit looked like, but don't hold me to it.
  16. Question, how have they come to be in the same time? Indy had his heyday during WWII, where as Ms. Croft is romping around the world now. So, is time travel involved, or are we talking about an older Indy here?
  17. Though I'm more of a fan of Star Trek: TNG, the original series had its moments and I'm glad to see it's properly being collected on DVD. Release date: August 31
  18. Stone's on crack. One look at cable television right now will tell you Bush's conservative beliefs had nothing to do with it. I'll tell you why it didn't happen: By slapping a PG-13 rating on it Warner Bros. was trying to draw in the family crowd, and they didn't want the parental backlash. It's all on WB, not GWB. (Damn her for making me defend Bush!)
  19. It's funny to hear someone call the GameBoy big (or "big ass" in this case), because I remember when it was considered small. But yeah, looking back it was pretty bulky. Add these to my list: Atari 2600 NES SNES N64 GameBoy GameBoy Advance GameBoy Advance SP
  20. Master Yoda wrote No Bones About It: Anxiety (a column). Read the link posted above, and you'll see why I've yet to review It's a Bird.... I'll update the list of upcoming items shortly.
  21. That is the one that made me laugh, and I will post it because it is the only one I could find that didn't bash homosexuality, joke about rape, or make racist jokes. If you (the general you; not you specifically DJ) can find others, feel free to post them. But any that make light of the subjects listed above will be deleted.
  22. I know. But 10,000 Yen is not a lot of money. So why was he so excited at such a small amount?
  23. Variety is reporting that Singer is indeed gone from the director's chair for X-Men 3, but he might produce it.
  24. So I went to Best Buy today, all excited to buy this set... but then I saw the $75 price tag and pouted as I walked away. No job = no income = no Sliders for Mike.
