I just came back from it. I enjoyed it a lot but it does have some issues, mostly with the editing. You can tell where a lot of the reshoots are because they feel out of place. Mostly Harley's one liners. Also they really reached far to squeeze it into the DC cinematic universe and you can tell it wasn't originally part of it.
Batman has never been like that, and he was never in danger of being murdered by an alien until he went after him first. Also, he is getting this team together to face a huge threat and yet he still seems like he's way too happy about it.
First off, no Superman? Second, why is Batman all the sudden a happy go lucky guy that throws jokes around like he's in a Marvel movie? Edit: I forgot they "killed" Supes. He better show up in this.
So I watch The Killing Joke. I never read the comic so I have nothing to compare it to. I liked the first half and hated the ending. It made no sense to me. It's like they built up to this explosive climax and then nothing happened.
Bought a PS4 yesterday. It would shut itself off randomly and refuse to turn on. Googled it and it has been a common problem since launch. Sony didn't learn anything from Microsoft and the red ring of death problems. How are you still shipping consoles with the same problem almost three years later?
I just watched Stranger Things on Netflix. Man that brought me back to my childhood. It channeled a Stephen King movie from the 80s so much that they even reference it in the show. It had a very "It" feeling to it.
After somehow staying spoiler free for two and a half years I finally finished with Breaking Bad. The second half of seasons four and five were some of the best television ever made. The first half of those same seasons were also some of the most boring television ever made.
Well this came out of nowhere: http://tvweb.com/x-men-tv-show-fox-pilot-order/ It's the people involved with Legion but Legion isn't set in the X-Men universe.
I imagine every time Barry looks at him there is a split second where he thinks he's Thawne. I wouldn't want my protege dressing like one of my biggest enemies.
