After watching it again it I guess I just didn't find the funny parts very funny. I'm not bashing the movie, just the trailer. I'm still hoping it will be good.

Two things: 1. The beginning made it seem like it's a sequel, not a reboot. I'm confused on that now. 2. It's a terrible trailer. The pacing and slow music doesn't mix well with the comedy.

There are a couple things that you can tell were just thrown in to connect to the X-Men universe without actually thinking about it. How he got his powers for instance. I wanted to yell "that's not how mutant powers work!" The opening credits were some of the most original I've seen in awhile. Stan Lee should just stop doing cameos because he's never going to top this one. The funniest scene to me was Deapool trying to beat up Colossus.

Just came back from it. I haven't laughed at a movie that much in a long time.
