  1. The thing is, his creative team right now sucks so much ass. The art is pitiful and that artists should be barred from the industry. Use some fucking color! If you want to know how cool Kyle is, go for back issues.
  2. I haven't even ever heard of it.
  3. Who would vote for anyone other than Moore?
  4. Myself, I voted for GL. After all, Kyle can make anything. I think it's about time DC wised up and realized that there should be another big gun in the company. And stop handing the book to pieces of shit writers and artists!
  5. We're using Kyle Rayner for this poll. Even though it's obvious that Hal Jordan had the greatest will of all GLs, it's been proven again and again that Kyle is by far the most powerful Lantern of all time. Now on to Kyle's condition: Condition: Green Lantern - Kyle holds his power ring, which, combined with his vivid imagination, is the most powerful weapon in the universe. The ring has a full charge, tapped from the Power Battery itself. No weakness to yellow. The ring can not be removed from Kyle forcibly, due to the conditions he set up in the Ion saga. Superman - Clark is under no outside influence, nor is he being affected by green kryptonite or kryptonite of any other color. He is in view of yellow sunlight, but has not been 'supercharged' or any other such nonsense that lazy writers have come up with in the past. Place: The Antarctic. There are no lifeforms to worry about, with GL's shielding there is no way either would be affected by the cold, and neither man would have to worry about stray shots. Setting: Kyle has been set up by a combination of The Black Circle remnants and Fatality, and framed for the destruction of a large part of Metropolis, an attack in which Lois Lane was seriously injured. Kyle can not turn himself in to the JLA because the rest of the team has been distracted by a Black Circle attack disguised as an outerspace attack. Being that Metropolis is the city attacked, Superman decides to take care of Kyle himself. Enraged at the thought of Lois on the brink of death, Clark tracks Kyle down on the frozen continent and attacks without warning. With no choice but to defend himself, Kyle must fight back. Result: The two fight until one is unable to stand and is knocked unconcious.
  6. With the conditions mentioned, Quartermain would end it quick.
  7. I think I might've read that before, but I have no clue. Is anyone else going to attempt it?
  8. Namor Jones. And the Temple of Fish. Dun da dun DUN duh da DAAAAAA! Dun da duh duh dun, duh dun dun DUN! Feel the excitement!!!!!!
  9. I knew I knew that, I just needed to think about it. Okay, Name three pairs of brothers (superpowered brothers) in the X-Men Universe.
  10. So, uh, I don't think anyone is an FF fan?
  11. Would any of these even be close?
  12. Was it that his grant was going to be lost and his project cut?
  13. Hey if Cheap doesn't post a new question, I think Yoda should just ask again.
  14. I suppose an easy answer would be Kingpin.
  15. You got it, though I was hoping someone might mention The Beatles, the Robot Village People, or Steve Miller. I loved those little cameos. You're up Yoda.
  16. If you didn't know there was an Arkham mini last year, go find it. Great storyline, amazing art, oh man, so good. And many new Bat villains were introduced. The answer to the question is The Joker and Two-Face escaped, at which point the Joker picked up a phone book and decided to kill everyone in Gotham whose name was a palindrome. So funny. Anyway, sorry to kill the thread. So here's the next question: name three non-DC superhero guest appearances in Alex Ross's original Kingdom Come. And to make it difficult, group appearances only count as one.
  17. I mean the mini/ trade. With the stockbroker who pled insanity and got sent to Arkham. Shit did I use the wrong title? If no one has read it, I'll post the answer and do a new question.
  18. Um, I didn't think this was very hard, but I guess no one has read Arkham Asylum? Should I post another question?

    Identity Crisis

Okay so apparently this is the new MEGA-CROSSOVER that DC does, oh every other month. So they're keeping mum on most of the details and I want to know if anyone has heard anything. The basis of the series seems to be that a major DC character is killed off. Since the cover advertised doesn't include Kyle Rayner, the rumor is that he's the one to go. But I don't see how killing another GL would make any sense at all. Especially since the GL title is in creative and artistic hell right now (seriously, I'm this close to dropping it). I can't imagine who gets to die, as it seems everyone in the DCU worth a shit has died in the last decade. Plus DC has been such a shithole with crossovers as of late that it doesn't even seem worth investigating. So my guess is that, though preliminary art looks great, this will be yet another DC failure. Any thoughts?
  20. Thought so. Did anyone else think that that was the only good part of the whole fucking thing? Okay, in the Arkham Asylum trade/ mini, two of the Batman's biggest baddies escape. Who were they and what was the absolutely hilarious crime spree that was planned?
  21. I may be wrong, but didn't he kill the Joker briefly during that awful 'Last Laugh' crossover?
  22. Just saw Hellboy. I loved it. Truly have no complaints.
