Ruptured my Achilles tendon playing mixed netball on Thursday night. I've been operated on but am on bed ridden for 10 days keep the foot elevated. I won't be able to drive for 8-10 weeks and can't run for 6-12 months. I'm in a moon boot with crutches. You would think having over a week to watch tv and play video games would be fun, but the immobility really plays on your mind. Everything is an effort. Was fine when I was in the hospital as you have people waiting on you night and day, but once you are home, it's a whole new deal.

Just saw an episode of "Would I Lie to You" with Keeley Hawes as a panellist. There is no way she has ever been that hot on Spooks. As for Breaking Bad, the only one I'm pulling for is Jessie.

He directed Tom Hanks in a WWII epic, but that was a bad loss, as Roberto Benigni was amazing in Life is Beautiful.

Don't forget the baggage of the Green Lantern movie as well. I don't understand why they aren't making movies for Wonder Woman and Flash, both have higher exposure than Green Lantern. Have they been scared by how much they stuffed up Green Lantern. Like many people have said before, WB don't know how or want to do anything that is Superman or Batman. They have been very profitable for them for a very long time.

If you think that FF sucks without these 2 characters, maybe that is marvels plan. Get these 2, give up Daredevil and then get FF back in a couple of years when Fox realise they can't do much with that franchise any more.

Just saw it for the first time. - Thought this was Bales best performance out of all 3 and maybe that was because he was Bruce just as much as Batman. - Michael Caine very nearly stole the whole movie though. - Anne Hathaway nailed it as Catwoman, just perfect in every scene. - JGL provided a great option as the heir apparent. I liked that they cut to the chase of him knowing the truth. I thought the ending was fantastic, if it ended with Alfred raising his glass and not seeing Bruce, then there would be questions, but he definitely lived. The explosion at the top of the building as he was flying away with the bomb was the detour for him to get out and set up the auto pilot. Like The Dark Knight, I thought it was overly complicated in parts, they could have dropped 30 seconds from the chase scene at the end to show some clips of the tunnel being used or more people attempting to fleeing the city. But these are just main gripes, everything does tie together, you just have to be patient.

Saw Jack White last night and it solidified that he is one of my most favourite artists of the past decade. Also, bought Weezer tickets for January next year.

The Newsroom. I don't disagree with the critics, especially with the shows treatment of female characters, but the cast is very enjoyable to watch, especially Sam Waterston. I'll keep watching because I'm Sorkin fanboy, and the subject matter interests me.

38,000+ sales, there is some interest in it. It's a pretty cheap media centre if the app for it works well. Plug in a HDD to the USB port or connect it wifi to your media server and it could be a great cheap entry level option for heaps of people. Or at the very least, a nice quick easy way for me to watch my porn on the second TV. Just had a thought, wonder if its a secret Google project to get Android in the homes quick and easy?

I'm torn on this game. The side missions etc are good, but sometimes I feel they are a distraction. I like the idea of all that freedom, but also think it is bad that you can do them any time you want, even when you're meant to be rushing something to someone before you run out of time. Also, I think there is a glitch. Alfred is telling me something is being dropped off before I hit the plot point for it to be in existence. But the Joker is that amazing that I just keep playing it for his next call, appearance, etc.

Finally got to see this last night. That trailer has far too many spoilers. I really, really enjoyed this movie, I just wish I new how to classify it. I struggled to find people to watch it with me, as I was going in blind, but new it was horror so anyone who doesn't like horror wouldn't go with me. While I don't think it is horror, like some of the classics, I still don't think they would enjoy it. I wish there was more of this style of movie making though.
