Yeah gotta say SM1 on PS1 just totally kick the most amount of ass ever. All the extras already mentioned, the controls, movements, story, it was one of the most complete Comic to Game conversions EVER. I have been tempted a couple of times to buy one of the Spidermans for PS2, but have been scared of being let down, because of the awesomeness of the first one.

I dare say the disclosures are true, but were part of the Ep1-3 disclosures. Lucas was probably just covering his arse, incase he decided to throw ideas around or such. I would be interested in 7,8 & 9 as there are many great stories there including - Return of Palpatine - Han and Leiah's twins - The new Jedi Academy, started by Luke. - Luke "turning" to the dark side Oh and more ewoks I kid, I kid.

Is it just me or do all the profile shots of Chiklis look like he has something sticking out more than the rest of the rocks on the side of his face. That could bug me for the entire movie. Oh, Yoda, many thought Halle Berry looked hot as Catwoman, did that make it a good movie? Booo to Alba as Sue. (Wasn't Sue always a blonde?)

Hmmm, interesting. I would have enjoyed him in both roles. I would however be afraid that people would not accept him as Superman, thinking that working on Buffy/Angel and nothing else, is not a good enough apprenticeship to play The Man of Steel. I think though, for Boreanaz, his best bet would be to play a villan in his first feature film (I don't count Valentine as a feature film). So, if he is interested in the Comic Genre, possibly something in Spidey 3?

I like Knoxville, he could bring something unique to the movie. Please not SWS, he's had his day and I thougth he wanted to try and get away from cheesy comedies. I've said it before and I'll say it again what do you expect. $ come first, integrity of the brand comes second. Unfortunately what WB do not realise is that instead of buying DC whole, they should have made a deal for exclusivity for all non-print media from DC. That way, the creative would have stayed autonomous to the need to beat the other guys. Sigh, a chill goes through my spine thinking about what it would be like it Sony had bought Marvel, like they had planned at one point.

Have to agree, I loved the ending. God/Al, on his birthday, all was a really good touch. You always kinda knew Sam was going to do it forever from the episode where he and Al switched places, and to save Al's life, he had to leap again, knowing he would be stuck again.

Imagine the Predator lands on the planet from Aliens before Ripley, Hicks, Hudson and Co have a chance to. Just as it lands, 1 of the eggs hatch, making it 1 on 1 action. Who wins.

Batman, and it isn't even close. Seriously, anyone who says Batman would only find out by accident about DD being Blind is deluding themselves. Batman would figure out pretty quickly that DD has some sort of super sense, and by a process of elimination would figure out what it is and as DRQ says, use some type of Sonic device to disorientate him. Or, if you don't like the Sonic device, couldn't he have a BatDevice to sheild is heart rate? Or couldn't he control his rate so that it is confused with something else? Or, remember the eipsode of Star Trek TNG, where Data lost some board game to a humanoid? He then won the rematch by going for the draw, knowing that his opponent would never suspect that. Batman would "attack" DD with projectiles but only as a means to lure him into a trap. Too easy.

Has anyone else read this? I read this book last year, it basically goes through the history of Marvel through the 80's and 90's when it was a power house to when it nearly went bust. Being in Australia, I was not privy to all the details as it was unfolding, but the facts as they were put forward in this book were totally enthralling. Has anyone read it or remember the high's and low's of Corporate Marvel? I would love more info on this..

Fixed. I'm starting to seriously think Warner Bros. wants to kill the comic book/superhero genre. With Catwoman and Constantine forthcoming, the rumors of Jack Black as GL, McG even being considered to direct Superman, and Superman III & IV and Batman III & IV already under their belts, their résumé is quite ugly. Does anyone remember how Marvel were trying to sell to Sony at one stage? It was before ToyBiz came in for the save. THANK GOD that never happened, imagine how fucked up the genre would be if both the BIG2 were controled buy Parent companies....

Caped Crusader....... sounds camp, I bet that is what The Ambiguously Gay Duo is based on, a Caped Crusader. Dark Knight all the way. It is also a name which can be given to bruce aswell as batman.

Agreed, if it brings down prices it's fine. The only reason games cost so much is the developmental part of it, once that is recouped they become "platinum" or your consoles equivalent. If the ad money can offset this, then cheaper new release games is fine.

I'm a PlayStation man. I never got in to Nintendo but I can't figure it out. My friends have Gamecubes and N64's, I enjoy playing them, but I'll never buy one. I got PS1 because it could be modded, then I guess I am big on brand loyalty, so when PS2 came and took the next step before anyone else, I upgraded. I also thought the backwards compatibility of games and controlers was great. Why do you game on what you game?

I agree, he is older, but definately needs to be mothered!! I think Michael Chiklis will be a great Ben. I was originally thinking Michael Rooker, so that was pretty close.
