    Identity Crisis

I just picked up issue #2 today. It's an excellent story and a great folow-up to the first issue. The flashback scene with Dr. Light's attack on Sue Dibny in the JLA sattelite was just disturbing. I almost wish I had waited for the TPB as well, because then I wouldn't have to wait a month between installments.
  2. Nothing new. Joe Lieberman pulled the same thing back in 1994.
  3. I thought they said in part 2 that Jason never died.
  4. I don't think so. If I remember correctly, he survived and lived as a hermit for 20 years or something. He basically raised himself. I'm going on memory here (and memory is notorious for being unreliable which is why journalists are told to fact-check rather than rely on memory) so if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.
  5. It didn't have to be. It was just "forgotten".
  6. It was strongly hinted in "Halloween 6" that Myers went though some sort of experiments. I suppose those experiments could have augmented his physical abiulities, durability and healing factor. "Jason X" explained that Jason can heal pretty much any injury given enough time, so he's not really dead. Can Freddy, if brought into the real world, return to the astral plane on his own? Or does he have to be sent back via his physical body being killed again? That's never really been explored in the series, and would be an interesting story.
  7. I would say 3. Bringing back Nancy and her father was a great way to have continuity in the series. (The way the story progresses through 1 and then 3-5 really leaves part 2 out in the wilderness, though.)
  8. Of course, Jason and Michael Myers can't be killed either because of their healing abilities, but they can be contained. The way Freddy is written, can he be contained? If he is brought into the "real world", can he be locked up so he can't do any harm?
  9. Powerful, yes, but I don't recall a story where the Surfer held off most of the heroes of the MU. Galactus is on that level, and he's significantly more powerful than the Surfer.
  10. Considering Onslaught held off all of Marvel's heroes, I don't see how the Surfer could be in his league.
  11. OK, My GameShark breathed new life into Goldeneye for me when I got as far as I could go. Same with The World is Not Enough and Mace: The Dark Ages. Sadly, though, Rare blocked my version of the Gameshark from working with Perfect Dark. Does anyone know if a later model was relased that works with Perfect Dark, and if I can purchase it for a reasonable price?
  12. My niece always managed to ride between the curb and the parked car. No one else I knew was able to do that. What annoyed me was that she was four years old at the time.
  13. I beat Contra eventually (with and without the Konami Code) but I was never able to beat the original TMNT. Neither game, though, was as difficult as Total Recall. Life Force, for me, was nearly impossible without the Konami code.
  14. I agree. Starships (whether they be Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Cardassian, etc.) in Trek are much bigger and more powerful than the smaller ships in the Star Wars universe. The Star Destroyers are on the same level as the Enterprise, etc, but the Falcon wouldn't even be close.

    Identity Crisis

Not kidding. all of the DC heroes show up to her funeral too. It was written as a big deal: underscoring the dangers to the families of DCU superheroes.

    Identity Crisis

I read the first issue. The character who dies is the Elongated Man's wife.
