  1. Mortal Kombat is quite underrated. It keeps the storyline simple, it has a kick ass Techno soundtrack(and I'm not too into Techno)and Christopher Lambert played a great Raiden(not to mention the guy who played Shang Tsung was awesome). Mortal Kombat: Annihilation was the bottom of the shit barrell(sharing it with StreetFighter, House of the Dead and Bloodrayne as the worse video game adaptations ever)
  2. Look, I may get chastised for even suggesting another person for the role, but check this guys site out http://www.youtube.com/user/TheJokerBlogs He acts just like Heath Ledger in a very eerie way and at times looks so much like him, just skinnier. Tell me if I'm wrong, but if you had to have him, even just for a few scenes this guy would not tarnish Legder's memory he would most likely honor it.
  3. What? Since Chances are, Downey Jr. has done the following: -Air America: huge hit -Chaplin: decent hit but massive critical hit -Natural Born Killers: massive hit -Wonderboys: critical and box office -2 seasons of Ally McBeal (the most popular show on tv) -Gothika: sucked but made a lot of coin -Good Night and Good Luck (anyone disparaging this film gets a punch in the face from your truly) and -Zodiac Add that to the glut of very interesting roles and films in between all of those including Charlie Bartlett and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (the best film in 2005) and I dare you to say that again! HOLY SHIT, BATMAN!!! LOL I forgot about Chaplin, wow can't believe it that as one of his best, thanks for reminding me. I haven't seen Natural Born Killers in a very long time, so I forgot he was in that. Gothika wasn't all that good and Air America I've never watched all the way through.
  4. The fact for me is Iron Man is an excellent film, it hits home runs in just about every aspect. But more so its about how well Robert Downey Jr took that role and respected the source material. He related to the character because of his own personal demons and it reflected well on screen. I saw a Robert Downey Jr film recently called "Less Than Zero" and realised that this man has not had a hit since those days(the only other GOOD films I can remember were, "Chances Are"and "Weird Science"). Gwenyth Paltrow, was okay as a sort of love interest, which I'm glad they didn't linger too much on, you can do that in the sequel if the time will let them. The villain was a great, but I came in a little too late. Those are basically my only problems with the film. Another factor as to why it could be overrated is that Robert Downey already told us about his Hulk cameo and than we see Nick Furey, basically setting up an Avengers movie right before our eyes.
  5. After my Dark Knight post tonight was good news, now its time for some possible bad news. Samuel L Jackson may not be in Iron Man 2, hell he may not even be Nick Fury, ughh are we gonna get another situation like Billy Dee Williams dealt with when Tommy Lee Jones took over as Harvey Dent. Here's the news http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/herocomple...fury-no-mo.html Make sure you check out that news on The Dark Knight too
  6. HARVEY DENT MAY BE ALIVE!!!!! Hear it from Eckhart's mouth. *Snickers* I just thought of something Aaron Eckhart plays Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight which has The Joker in it. The dirty cop in Tim Burton's Batman is named Eckhart and that film has both Harvey Dent and The Joker. Wow, do we go in circles. Anyway, here is that link: http://www.superherohype.com/news/batmannews.php?id=7980
  7. I'm sure they did cut down stuff, it was definitely an R-Rated film. That quick cut they did with The Joker cutting the mob bosses face couldn't have been shoddy editing
  8. Here are two updates on returning characters in Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/14927 http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/14928
  9. Okay here's more news on the development of Screa 4, apparently Kevin Williamson who wrote 1 and 2 is writing a draft, so that at least is good news. Here's more http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/14923
  10. Really, I thought they each had Richard Donner commentary
  11. Here's some footage showing that a possible Ghostbusters sequel is on its way... http://ghostspy.wordpress.com/ More info here: http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/14892
  12. I like Smallville, but besides maybe three decent shows on that channel it really has just screwed the station up. WPIX and the WB had so much more in terms of quality shows its not funny.
  13. Here's some news that many may find good and/or bad news. First Michael Rosenbaum is in talks to return to Smallville for one or two episodes this Season, the stipulation is.... He wants to wear a bald cap(it looks like WB will have to compromise, just like Donner did with Hackman) Here's the rest of that story: http://www.windycitymediagroup.com/gay/les...E.php?AID=20197 Also Tom Welling is currently closing a deal to return for a 9th Season, yes, yes. Here's the questions and answer given: Question: Any news as to whether Tom Welling has signed on for another season of Smallville? Scarlett Ausiello: Yes, there's news, and it's good. Some would even call it, ahem, super. According to a well-placed Smallville insider, Welling is nearing a deal to return for a ninth season. I'm told they're just ironing out some minor deal points, such as should the Brinks Truck pull into the actor's driveway, or just unload on the street.
  14. Wow, well we got the first casualty that will help transition it into the new reboot. Awesome episode, it could have had a bit more than just the captive woman, but its a 2 parter at least. Supposedly David Hasslehoff will return as either a main cast member or a recurring character(Most likely because Bruce Davison is leaving). I'm sorry to say this, but I really hope he just comes in as a guest star because if he's anything else than the series will not be about Michael Knight Jr, it will revert back to being about Michael Knight and than what's the point. However, a guest starring place would be good, especially when old enemies like KARR come back and they need more than just one MK.
  15. Yeah, true but there were a shitload of deleted scenes from part 4, the alternate ending in part 3. Uncut footage from parts 2 and 5 and the R2 commentary for F13TH. I've never seen this Jason Forever documentary, so that should be cool. I will get that Many Faces of Jason Documentary, so there 3. Now if only New Line and Warner Brothers would get together and make an ultimate Nightmare on Elm Street documentary
  16. I'll get it for the new features, but also because of the 3-D, I never saw F13TH 3 in 3-D, but not right away, I'll wait a little while, just in case they do make a box set. I mean, they'd have to be stupid to release 6 films and not release the other two. But than again its Paramount, if its not Star Trek, its not worth the time and money. You also have to remember the Documentary coming out too.
  17. Well we knew from the moment the remake had a release date we can expect Paramount to start re-releasing these films. So far, only the first 6 films are being released(with the first 3 being released on Feb 3rd, 2009). 18. I just got The Dark Knight 2-Disc Special Edition Rambo: Ultimate Collection(Tin Case) First Blood & Rambo: First Blood Part II Rambo III Rambo
  19. are you talking about Transformers the animated or live action movie? if your referring to the live action transformers that's where the new KR got the tech from as far as the transformation of KITT The live action film. I grew up with the cartoon and watched it until Beast Wars. The film just wasn't really very appealing to me. But you are right the whole transforming concept they perfected in the Transformers movie and was able to utilize that in the new Knight Rider series. The special effects were good in the film, I admit that, but I just didn't care for it and you have to admit, it is a very overrated, made a lot by people who weren't even alive when the cartoon series was new
  20. Danielle Harris is in final talks to return. You know, she's dead, let's just hope she's able to go out with a bang(unlike her Jamie Lloyd character). http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/14843
  21. I don't know about the KARR episode coming up. I just sat and watched the first appearance of KARR in the original series and it was fucking awesome. I wasn't a fan of Transformers(the movie) and it looks like that's where there going with the character. I really hope they don't fuck up that character, just to appeal to the few who watch Knight Rider and loved Transformers(mainly being kids).
  22. Wow guys, I'm sorry I was making a joke, I didn't think it would start a debate..
  23. Wait, so when I want a club about cake...... Well I saw so many post where you talked about cake, I figured you might like one, joke, lol
  24. Every week. Here. Way to promote, lol I'll definitely check this out.
