  1. You probably need to read Morrison's whole run for it to make sense actually.
  2. I reread this and I think I have it figured out.
  3. The fate of Batman is going to be revealed in Final Crisis so he can still die.
  4. So the moral of the story is that Batman is smarter than everyone and Joker is the only one who truly understands that?
  5. What are the odds these were just cancelled because they are going in new directions with all the characters related to Batman after the RIP arc?

    Final Crisis

I really enjoyed Rogues' Revenge. I know that there was not much continuity with Final Crisis and the entire point was to set up that the Rogues know that Barry Allen is back, but it was a really good story.
  8. Its really not. The final battle is abysmal, I almost slept through everything after he got thrown out of the chopper. It terms of a realistic depiction of characters and their surroundings it made Sin City look like a documentary. The rest of it is just OK, a *** film that was clearly missing some material. Once the directors cut is out I'll be happy to compare the two, but I'm certainly getting Iron Man on DVD ahead of Hulk. Was the the final battle in Iron Man all that special?

    Final Crisis

He would be the only one, given how the rest of the DC Universe is completely failing to properly tie in. A shiny penny for the man who can tell me where Last Will & Testament fits in, given the presence of a half dozen characters that couldn't possibly be there at any point of this crisis. Elaborate please. Regardless, it was fantastic. OK, off the top of my head Batman appeared in Last Will and Testament with Robin but by this point he's supposed to be being tortured in Final Crisis. Theres a ton of mixed up things in that issue, I'll look it all up when I the chance. When is Superman telling everyone the world is ending? The Planet blew up and he's been with lois snce then right up until he went into the multiverse. How does this fit in? You forgot that Superman is also supposed to be in the future fighting Superboy Prime with the Legion of Superheroes.
  10. Was 300 written and drawn in super slow motion?
  11. I never had high hopes for this movie given who is directing it. The Dawn of the Dead remake and 300 are just awful movies. Still even with my low hopes these spoilers have me annoyed as hell. I mean I should not be surprised that symbolism or satire goes sailing over Snyder's head, but Jesus Christ if he at least tried to pull that frame by frame remake to the screen BS there might have been some goodness by osmosis.
  12. I cannot see how what they changed it to could work.
  13. Major spoilers in these reviews so don't click if that kind of thing bothers you. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/watchmen/new...chmen_Screening I do not like what I am reading here.
  14. This is an interesting statement by Neil Gaiman
  15. Is this going to be a somewhat smart Hulk or "Hulk Smash" Hulk?

  17. As awesome as this movie was I am watching Batman Begins right now on FX and god damn that is a great movie. I had not seen it in a while, but I think I may like Batman Begins more than TDK.
  18. Wait, I thought that either Dick or Tim was going to be Batman until the Neil Gaiman story.
  19. This story arc is the end of Bruce Wayne as Batman. Whether he dies or not is what is being left up in the air as of this point.
  20. Is anyone? I'd write the name of the guy who writes it here, but I just don't feel like putting in the effort.
  21. My biggest problem with this story arc is that Robin seems to be the only comic than Batman in all the RIP tie ins that seem to be following some type of parralel timing. Nightwing and The Outsiders seem to be after and Detective Comics is appearently before. Then there is the fact that Batman is in Final Crisis which Morrison says is after RIP, but in the other comics that are supposed to be RIP Batman is gone. So my confusion at this point is not Morrison's main story in Batman, but the story they are trying to tell around it.

    Batman/Superman

I picked up the last couple of issues of this because it looked wacky. Then it turned into a damn good story. Basically a Justice League from the happiest world in the multiverse shows up in the middle of Batman and Superman doing their thing. For instance in their world Bruce Wayne became Batman because his parents were pushed once. However, the villians also show up and find out that they can actually kill people. In their world bullets of rubber and Joker's flower shoots out soapy water etc. But the villains are as evil as the regular villians so they are a real problem. Then the ending was just great and sad. If you didn't read it I say check it out.
  24. I just want to say that the idea of a Talia Al Ghul/Commissioner Gordon teamup is the greatest thing of all time.
