Finished Death Note tonight. Thoughts on it in a review sometime soon. Dennou Coil is next up, heard very good things about it.

I'm mainly relying on what I'm seeing on Scans_Daily in terms of actual pages, and peoples' reactions to it. I'm really eager to see character growth there.

For most of these, I'm going off of what I know of the first book, and the continued impressions I'm getting from the reviews. Don't mean to imply that all Dick is going to do is weep. (...heh.) And Damian just rubs me wrong on every level. Though, admittedly, that's kind of because of his upbringing.

All we know is that they took a contract, and they're on some random island and there's metahuman enslavement going on. 'm glad I've decided not to continue following Bats and Robin. Dick I can feel mildly sympathetic towards, but if all he's going to do is mope, then eh. Also, I really don't like Damian, and I dislike how Morrison's trying to push him on us. Cap Reborn and Marvel Divas sound... interesting.

Just got back from awesome part last night. Got drunk off of half of a tall glass of white wine and a beer. ...This is what happens when you do not drink on a regular basis for about a month.

Cooked chicken marsala for the first time tonight. Was very good. This in turn means that I can, in fact, cook.

My music library, after about a month, is more or less restored. Just have to buy an album off iTunes (or find it via illegal means, whichever works better), and get some stuff from people in the fall or in the next few weeks. 33 gigs, and this time, I'm backing it up. Also, going out to Madison tonight to be drinking and celebrating with friends.

...Eh. I've never seen Reynolds in a movie as of yet, so I'll reserve judgement. I still have a bad feeling about this.
