Would it be out in trade? I've heard a lot of good things about him, and I've never read any of his comics as of yet.

...I'd say to pick it up because Simone's a consistently good writer (or at least from what I've seen, which has mostly been her Secret Six run), and the art's good. Ooh. Admittedly, I don't know a lot about Ostrander, except that he was almost going blind and Comix 4 Sight was a fundraiser that Simone was leading to help pay for his medical bills, but from the interview, I'm eager to see what he'll do.

Also, just found a rip of Commentary! the Musical online, downloading now.

Been rewatching the best parts of Season 4 of BSG; from the Hub through Sometimes a Great Notion, then Someone to Watch Over Me, and now am finishing up the last part of Daybreak, having watched the first part some time ago. We'll see if I still dislike the second half of this last part as much as I did the first time. That, and a bit of Venture Bros. EDIT: Yep, still hate the soapbox ending, pretty much anything from one hour in forward, with the exception of the final Roslin/Adama moments.

I am so fucking sick of going back and forth with the budget lady for Campus Life about anime club. I've been going back and forth with her for the last month or so trying to figure out exactly where this sudden $120 debt has come from when they said that we were completely balanced at the end of the year. She's been unable to provide the receipts for the hotel and vans we stayed at for the convention, citing a move over to the campus center, which I understand, but still, it's been close to a month, and now when I pointed out that there's something I'm seeing on a spreadsheet that, if correct, should apply to the vans, which were paid for under the ACen allocation, and reduce the debt to about $20, she says it's just better if we talk in person (and I will be up at school before the year starts, hopefully sometime in the third week of August, so we can do that). I feel bad for annoying her, but at the same time, they should be able to tell us how this debt came about, especially after telling us that we were balanced not a month earlier! Also, sick. This is not helping things.

Actually, at the place I worked at, the prices were pretty good (Toppers Pizza), and most of the pricing goes to cover ingredients and equipment and, y'know, paying the employees.

Well, yeah, every company charges that delivery fee, and no, it doesn't go to the drivers, that's why you're expected to tip in addition. I've worked at a pizza place, Mike, that usually goes towards covering gas costs for the vehicles.

It's getting the shit promoted out of it, but it's probably not going to make any money.

I noticed a really stupid math error on the part of the Campus Life office while going over Anime Club's budget sheets trying to figure out where the $120 debt came from that, if I'm correct, gives us an extra hundred dollars to put towards the money we owe for vans, and, in turn, reduces our actual debt to only twenty bucks, which is not that bad.

I like this idea. I don't know what the hell it is, but after seeing Mickey in a black leather trenchcoat kicking ass in KHII, I am all for this.

Hey, people. Need some help. My parents got a Dell desktop from a friend, second or third hand, something like that, and a printer with it. They're trying to figure out how to install it on the computer. Note that we do not have an install CD. Anyone have any clue how we would do this? (I'll be getting another HP printer that we have extra, which I'll also need to know how to install on a Mac without an install CD, if I can find a way to do it for 'em. There be incentive involved here.)
