I'd buy the monthlies, but I'm in the process of selling off my entire comic book collection. So I don't want to start amassing another one. Completely understandable. And yeah, like suave said above me, the trade comes out in July. Hoping to find #5 to whatever number is out currently on Wednesday.

The back issues are actually pretty readily available; Powerhouse got #2-4 for me, going to try and catch up with the rest of it now that I've read those.

Realistically, yeah. I'm cynical when it comes to sequels.

They've been talking about a sequel for months, really. I'm kind of eh about a sequel. Lightning rarely strikes twice, and I don't really see what else they could do with it, plot-wise, that doesn't sound like a bad fanfiction. On the other hand, if they can come up with a good plot and songs, then I'd probably watch it.

(Also it's not stuck in the 18th/19th centuries, that helps a lot.) Here's the kicker about the whole thing; the primary argument is between my grandmother and my father, and they're involving us only to make the other feel guilty about what they're doing. So, here's hoping Grandma doesn't try and make me "choose a side" as she put it at her and Grandpa's anniversary.

So. Apparently my grandma wants to come up from Fond du Lac after her and Grandpa's dentist appointment and have lunch/dinner with me. On the one hand, I'll be glad for the free food. On the other hand, I have this nagging feeling it has a lot to do with the fact that I, through legitimate conflicts, have not been at the last two family gatherings (Easter and my cousin's bridal shower), and the whole religion thing's going to come up.

... Tis a weird thing. Most of the shows that I like or watch on a regular basis end up getting cancelled. Does anyone else have this happen to them?

Is there any word on Kings at NBC? I know they moved it to a Saturday slot, which might be worse than the Sunday slot it had. Also, I'm willing to bet that Dollhouse gets canceled after this season; they aired the Prison Break premiere in its normal spot this last Friday. Plus, its ratings continue to drop every week.

In retrospective, maybe having prospective students over on these last two days wasn't the greatest idea on the part of the administration.

Summer 2005 - Summerfest, saw Good Charlotte headlining the Marcus, with Hoobastank opening, and also the tail end of Evanescence. (I was young, give me a break. ) Summer 2006 - Summerfest, saw Kid Rock headlining the Marcus (can't remember the opening act, save that it was good), and left about halfway through when he started doing overblown solos on every instrument on stage, went and saw Buddy Guy instead (AWESOME, especially when Kid Rock came on and did a duet after his show and Buddy Guy out smarmed him). Summer 2007 - Summerfest, Weird Al Yankovic. My favorite concert to date. Summer 2008 - Summerfest, Matisyahu. A fun concert, lots of weed smoke floating around, and amusingness with Jewish reggae (it was his birthday and they bought out a cake with candles on it, but Orthodox Jews don't blow out candles. Whoops....).

Well, they're on a couch, that's fairly cushoined, no? And just add some padding around it and show them how to do it without hurting each other. xD

At that point, I'd have pretty much accepted that the person I thought was my boyfriend was, in fact, a robot out to kill me, and most of what we'd had would've been false at that stage anyways. Plus, it's more of a kill or be killed situation, as I understand it.
