I barely knew who Zendaya was a year ago. Now, I just hope they give her a giant part in the next Spider-Man along with a host of big roles. She was the only thing that got me through... The Greatest Showman: It's a movie. A couple of the songs are good. So is Zendaya. That's the best I can say. Avengers: Infinity War: I'm still not sure how I feel about this movie. The Chipmunk Adventure: Loved it as a kid. Good for when I need to have something on in the background while I work on other stuff. Films: 36 Straight to DVD: 1

You know, of everyone you could get to do the official song, not my first choice but yeah, it works.

Considering the way that everything was segmented, I hope so. Seriously, the more I think I about this movie, the more I'm liking it. It's like a strange sickness.

2001, Tough one but gonna say Infinity War, Black Panther, also tough but gonna say Force Awakens, and Clue but ask me another day and I'll say Carrie.

The contract negotiations for this film must have been a nightmare. Just from some accounts of other films where you had a large amount of big actors, all with big careers (and myabe big egos) we probably had stuff like, "Mr. Pratt agrees to take a paycut if he is last billed, his costumes account for any weight fluctuation, and there are sprinkles at any events involving ice cream and/or frozen yogurt. Gelato is excluded."

I have definitely warmed on it since my initial feelings of "Meh." It's nowhere near as ambitious and it feels it is but I'm will to see it a second time before I firmly say if I feel if it's C-Grade or B. Mike, are we at the point where we still need to use spoilers or should we go ahead and keep with it?

I did a rewatch of Parks and Rec with a friend that had never seen it before a month or so ago. It still holds up pretty well. There are moments that are very cringeworthy but I had a lot of fun this time around. Except the first season. It's not good.

Hard agree with Preston here. Just... no. Solid advice for life: look at what you type before you hit reply. Ask yourself: "Does this make me sound like a dick?" If you can construe that it does, rethink your approach. Unless you're being a troll. In that case, go to 4Chan or Reddit instead.

I'm going through and watching the Reedit of Season 4 and yeah, it holds up a lot better as 22 20-ish minute long episodes with everyone being in each episode than as the long, Rashomon episodes we had originally. Regardless, this looks funny.

Oh yeah, I've seen a ton of crazy ass Italian films. Fulci blows the opening out of the water. My parents weren't Italian Horror movie fans though (Mom really liked David Lynch though). I would hate to imagine how I would have turned out if I had seen The Beyond at 9. T2, Bambi, and that Chuckie poster falling on me when I was 5 screwed me up enough as it is.
-
I first saw the opening 5 minutes of T2 when I was 9. It was burnt into nightmares for years afterwards. That's how effective it is.

Yeah. I got nothing. The New Saban era has been a mixed bag but was showing improvement. This is... Hell if I know.

Reminder for context here: This wasn't a single ad. This was a series of ads that would have aired over a series of months.

Is this the Space Western that Full Moon put out years ago or the Tom Cruise movie?
-
Is it just me or is Tom Hardy's American Accent been getting worse over the last few years?

For me, a big part is the Natasha stuff but it's also entire parts of the film exist just to set up further movies. That's an easy 15-20 minutes worth of fat that could have been cut and it would have made for a better film. I'll admit, most of the stuff with Hawkeye works (and the "Language" running gag) but it's almost too little to factor into a higher enjoyment of the film. It also doesn't help that you can feel how aggravated Whedon is with the entire affair at this point.

The Avengers: Alright. Still not that great. Guardians of the Galaxy: Still one of the best Marvel Films. Avengers: Age of Ultron: Still one of the worst Marvel films. Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Beginnings: and Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Eternal: Showed to a friend for the first time. A pretty good breakdown of the series. Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Rebellion: When deciding if we were going to watch it, I summed it up as, "Do you want the good ending or the true ending?" As an end, it fits though I do kind of wish for a new movie now. Films: 33 Straight to DVD: 1

One of my best friends has been transitioning over the last couple of years so I know this probably took a lot to get to this point. So proud of you!

Thanks. Had bad movie night, didn't drink nearly enough, and basically felt largely lame the entire night. It is what it is. But i have the next couple of days off from work so good on me.

Spice World: Could not be a more meta film. Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation: Basically, The Care Bears vs The Devil. Also, Faust because sure. Power Rangers: Been a year, still holds up. Sailor Moon R: The Movie: Basically watched the old version of the dub. So many problems with the plot but its Sailor Moon so whatever. Films: 27 Straight to DVD: 1

They're set photos and not official ones at that. Of course something shot on a phone camera is going to look worse than something filmed at 1080p under professional lighting. If I had a dollar...
