Venneh
...I can so see Oprah's head swiveling around as she yells, "EXTERMINATE, EXTERMINATE". And this is what will happen when her last show airs. So, Chicagoans, you might want to run.
SuaveStar
I'm finally coming up with new ideas for skits/scripts again. Means nothing to anyone else, but I've not felt like writing in a long time, and I finally am starting to get ideas again. So yay for that. JackFetch
Behold, the bacon AT-AT: The Bacon AT-AT stands 3 ft tall and is made with over 40 lbs of bacon. The body was made from foam, then the bacon was attached. This beast took 21 non-stop hours to build. If you've ever once thought to cook 40 lbs of bacon in your kitchen in one sitting, I can now personally advise against it.

Venneh
Hannah: I hate Citizen Kane. Soooo hard. I do not envy you having to study it. I agree about Citizen Kane. A bloated engine of boredom that doesn't stop. Infinitely inferior to Touch of Evil in every way. Thirded on Citizen Kane. It is an exercise in extreme boredom. It was his sled. It was his god damned sled from when he was a kid. There I just saved you two boobless hours. Yeah, sorry kids, I liked it. No, it is not the zomg best film evar, but, still, it's a pretty good film, and I'd see it again. I honestly liked the interlocking stories, the play of dark and light in the shots and the sheer scale and loomingness of things (yes, that's a word, fuck off) and how, by the end, you realize that everything is subjective and there's no way to know the truth about him. Might just be me, though.
SuaveStar
After writing three short sketches around characters, I found out something. I am shit at dialogue. I mean quite bad, it isn't one of my strengths. So damn.
Missy
Keep practicing. Really listen to the way people speak, and try to get that on the page. Also, it might seem odd, but read your dialog aloud as you type it. That will give you a better sense of how true it sounds.

The weird thing was, it was the longest scene, that didn't feel right, I showed it to someone, and said, why don't I just cut stuff. In the end, I turned a three page scene in twenty seconds and it flowed a lot better for me to write and the people reading it.

SuaveStar
Another article drafted onto publisher, I am now down to write one article on the writing process, then making it into a page on publisher, and then redraft them as radio stories. Venneh
Y'know what? Going back to bed and not to class, mainly because the neighbors were up till 3 in the morning loudly playing emo songs on a ukulele and singing along. (Yes, it is as awful as you think it is.) Dread
Not funny, but awesome. This site has custom Star Wars figures created as if Star Wars was an actual Kurosawa film and not a ripoff of one.

KnightWing
I love how the costumes for Luke and Ben are barely different. Whoa! I want that Obi-Wan / Obu Wankabe figure! Me too!

Venneh
Probably not until after C2E2 for me. Also, don't know the comic, have only seen a few trailers, so I have no clue what to expect.
Missy
If you've seen the trailers (especially the red band ones), that's all you need to know. It's a violent take on superheroes in the real world.
Guest
Yeah, I'm probably the only person that hated the comic (shocker) but everyone says the movie is lots of fun.
