Guest
Pretty much the only reason Billy is in this tournament is because I seeded him so high. I don't expect him to make it past this round, and I wanted to throw the dark horse a bone. I've always considered Billy one of the more underrated slashers out there, whilst I find Kubrick's version of The Shining to be massively overrated. Venneh
Sorry, I've got to go with Jack Torrance, cause I like the portrayal of his descent into the crazy (even if its not near as good as the books, Nicholson makes it his own) more than I like the five minutes we get of Billy. MaxPower
Jack Torrance, cause he hates Shelley Duvall almost as much as me, haha.
SuaveStar
Jack: A mostly good man, driven to madness and murder. So, I chose him, that and what Max said.
dc20willsave
Jack. He was already a jerk before the ghosts got to him. Billy does have the higher body count but I just don't find him all that scary.
slothian
I'm going to throw Billy a vote for pretty much being the first slasher film villain. I don't see him overtaking Jack, but there's definately a case to be made for Billy.
Molly
Jack, without a second thought.
Dan
Jack, absolutely.
Dread
Sorry, but Jack couldn't kill a child. Nicholson was greta showing the descent into madness but nothing about Torrance is as scary as the phone call Billy makes. Also, Billy won and was actually, you know, effective in his movie.
