Stavros
Orlock. Lecter spends most of his time in a jail cell and when he isn't he's really more of a grisly anti-hero. Orlock inspires genuine terror, he's a horror icon.
Guest
Orlok was my #1 seed and I don't know if I can put into words how highly I regard him. Just... look at that picture. Fucking look at it. That's not a character. That's a monster staring right into you. Orlok is the only villain in this tournament that's ever given me a genuine chill up my spine. I don't fear Lector. Give him a pretty girl and play into his intellectual vanity a bit and you've won.
MaxPower
Orlok is creepy is fuck, easy vote.
slothian
I don't consider the Lecter films to be technically "horror" films, particularly as the books don't get shelved in the horror section. He's a cool villain/anti-hero, but Orlok is (yes, ostensibly) Dracula.
dc20willsave
Yeah, Orlok has become iconic. Lecter's legacy has been ruined by at least two sub-par sequels and 1 that's vaguely alright.
Dread
I love the character of Lecter. But, Orlok is a cooler horror villain, tougher monster and arguably the most iconic villain in all of horrordom...filmdom even. No contest: ole Ratface wins. Missy
For a supposedly refined killer, Lecter lacks subtlety. He's a cartoon character in what's supposed to be a serious movie. So for that reason alone he can't get my vote.
Molly
Orlock, but I'm sorely tempted to toss a pity vote to Lecter.
