Is this your first time seeing Empire? First time in over a decade. Last time I saw them when my brother took me to see the first two when I was nine. I've never seen Jedi from start to finish in one sitting either. That rocks. I have to watch The Holy Trilogy at least once a year so, I gotta say, I kinda envy you for being able to go into watching it with fresh eyes.

That whole comic just looks and feels wrong, just who the hell are the trying to appeal to!? The thing I'm looking forward to is the half-assed promoting of the comic that they'll do the week of it's release on Raw.

Well, that answers the question of if it takes place before Blackest Night #5 or after. BTW, vaguely off-topic, can I just say it sucks to be Wonder Woman in a DC Universe Event? I mean, in Crisis on Infinite Earths, she gets unwritten from existence to be written back in later. Underworld Unleashed she was killed by Neron. In Infinite Crisis, she killed Maxwell Lord when the character would normally have found another way. Amazon Attack, yeah, let's skip Amazons Attack since there wasn't anyone that got out of that intact. Actually, considering that Amazons Attack was originally supposed to be one of the Infinite Crisis crossovers, that explains a little. That was probably the reason that everyone was going to hate the Amazons rather than Wonder Woman, someone who has never done anything wrong really, is shown on TV by an anonymous source, killing a guy you later find out was raping Superman. I mean, c'mon. That's allowable death. Sorry Tangent over. Final Crisis rolls around and Wonder Woman gets possessed by one of the Female Furies and has to wear that ugly boar mask. Finally, in Blackest Night Just once I would like DC to really treat their premier female super-hero, hell the world's most famous female heroine, with some respect. Is that asking too much that someone other than Gail Simone does that?

That why I loved one of the things my teachers did in high school. On group projects, most of the time we had to also grade each others work, basically scale how much work we did and the other members of the group did. We also had to put in any other comments. That way the teacher could alter the grades so anyone that did little to no work will get a lesser grade than the people who did most of the work. A lot of that was on the honor syster but it was also a small school so the teacher could also usually tell if someone was lying about doing the work.

There are fansubs out there if you look. I'm personally going to wait until they bring it over. I mean, it only took two years last time.

Thank you. I've been getting tired of people praising Paranormal Activity when it's basically just Blair Witch 2: Demonic Boogaloo. The worst part is the people who think the movie really happened when it just came out of the writer having insomnia. Someone in marketing ran with it and decided that it was inspired by true events. That is the one part of The Lion King I like. The rest of it can burn for all I care but I did love "Be Prepared." Correction, The Lion King can survive if for no other reason than I do like Lion King 1 1/2.

I probably wouldn't have as much of a problem with the character if not for Countdown. He made for a good, if vaguely whiny, villain in Infinite Crisis. He wasn't too bad in Sinestro Corps War. He did still get on my nerves in Legion of Three Earths but that might also be because it was coming off of Countdown and he was surrounded by better villains. I actually was digging him in the recent issue of Adventure Comics. So, I'd have to say I don't mind Superbitch Prime as much when it's Geoff Johns writing him. So, Preston, good luck with your bid to become his biggest fan. I'm sure there will be little competeition.

End of Evangelion was interesting to say the least. To tell you the truth, I wasn't satisfied with the either of the ones we got. The tv show ending was rather hard to follow and I was the one who had to explain it to people. The End of Evangelion ending was depressing to the extreme and it had some other flaws, namely the it just cemented that Rei was not an interesting character and she was just a doll. It did have Asuka's crowning moment of awesome though. I have to say the thing I'm looking forward to about Rebuild is the new ending. It's already given me a Rei that has a personality that I can give a shit about. Maybe it can giv me an ending that lives up to the series.

It is possibly the second best Disney villain song after "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from The Little Mermaid. It always made me sad that Jafar's got thrown on the cutting room floor and he never got one until the sequel.

Even the worse of the decline films have one song in them that's kinda awesome. Mulan has the "We Are Men" song and Hunchback has "Hell Fire." Okay, except for Tarzan. Tarzan's redeeming value is that it eventally ends.

Anyone else ever get bored and check to see what the anonymous people on the board are check out? Some of it is really random. One of them is looking at a Scooby Doo thread that's been dead for a few months.

I will agree that Beast Machines is a great series. Beast Wars is a better show but BM is still just as good. The only thing that really made me dislike it was Nightscream. The character got kinda annoying at times. He did eventually grow on me but, overall, the character just rubbed me the wrong way. The other thing that got on my nerves was Botanica. Not the character herself, just that she was introduced so late in the game and nothing ever really came of her. She had a lot of untapped potential and I really liked the character too.

Yeah, let's not. When it comes to Teen Titans, things get messy on this board. Best just to look the other way.

Is there like an anti-Earth-2.net forum out there, like Earth-3? I know that back when I posted on Television Without Pity's forums, there was an anti-TWoP website. It would be awesome if we had an evil double website out there, out to criticize everything and raise The Terrible Trio and Toys in The Hood as the best works of the DCAU. Oh, and they think Dodo rocks and their lord and master loves Jeph Loeb and never makes accidental sexual remarks.

Waiting on my work schedule for this coming week. I really wish I could get this thing with a few days of advance notice. I can't make plans for the week if I don't know when I'm supposed to get off/go on.
