  1. Congrats. With only a week left, I have to say "How will my face?" may be the quote of the year.
  2. Since Die Hard is the ultimate Guy's Movie, you need to accompany it with the Ultimate Chick Flick like Steel Magnolias, Pretty Woman, basically anything Julia Roberts. What you need to do for April Fool's is do a role reversal where you choose a Chick Flick that has most of the features of a Guy Flick (Elizabeth, Kill Bill, or Thelma and Louise comes to mind) and a guy flick that has Chick Flick qualities (The Shawshank Redemption, Field of Dreams, or Good Will Hunting.) Overall, this is sounding like a rather fun podcast. Looking forward to it.
  3. It's horrible to fail at failing. It's possible to be the best at everything but impossible to to be the worst at everything because than you're the best at being the worst. So, do I get a trophy? No, just a small commemorative plate with Jeph Loeb saying, "I'm better than you."
  4. It's horrible to fail at failing. It's possible to be the best at everything but impossible to to be the worst at everything because than you're the best at being the worst.
  5. It's weird really. Put a few people in a room together who's lives are in the shitter together and they will strive to prove that they're more covered in crap than the others.
  6. Trying to group movies together by theme/movies that compliment each other. Sixteen Candles & Porky's Total Recall & Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind Bring It On & Rudy Twins & Big Business Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid & Thelma and Louise Wedding Crashers & My Big Fat Greek Wedding Carrie & Scanners Fight Club & The First Wives Club Aladdin & Beauty and the Beast
  7. Try being all that and 24 and the only reason you're not living at home is because the Parents live 2000 miles away in the boonies. Dear god, this is going to turn into a "who's more pathetic contest..."
  8. In the Justice League Unlimited line a few years back, there was a 10-Inch Atom toy that came with a mini-Atom. As for essential Atom reading, some of the silver-age Atom stories are collected in the Showcase format. The Ryan Choi stories are collected as well. The first 20 are written by Gail Simone so they're all levels of awesome.

I'm judging by if I could hit them with a blunt instrument, would I and how big. For example, I would run if I ran into Kefka or Vivi but if I saw Tidus, I would drop the moon on him. So, favorites which can also be coolness.

Mini-tangent about lead male characters in the Final Fantasy series. It happens.
  11. I don't think the War Chief is The Master for a couple of reasons. First off, The War Chief just doesn't seem as smart as the Master. The War Chief thinks the Doctor would help him take command of an army. He also doesn't have The Master's talent with hypnotism.
  12. Make that three. I thought there were some moments of good suspense. I really liked Ten's explanation of regeneration where he says it really is more like dieing than previously seen. It works, especially considering what he does in Journey's End with his severed hand. The scene with the Ood was kinda pointless outside of getting an explanation about why Queen Elizabeth considered the Doctor her mortal enemy. Overall, I don't consider it as bad as 42 or Daleks in Manhattan. It's mostly average and I'm going to reserve judgment until part 2.

I always liked Squall, especially later on in Kingdom Hearts. Squall, especially later on, really stepped up as a leader as opposed to Cloud who kinda always got on my nerves, especially early in the game where he just kinda tries to shrug off responsibility all with some single minded obsession with Sephiroth. Between that and his tacked on love story with Tifa, mainly because of the fact that it's obvious that she would have been runner-up if Aerith has survived, and you have a character that pales in comparison with Squall. Still, both are better than Tidus.
  14. What I think would be awesome is at the end The Return of Bruce Wayne we have rival teams of Batmen and Robins with Bruce and Tim on one side with Damien and Dick on the other. While I figure that Dick will step down as soon as Bruce comes back, I don't see Damien doing the same.
  15. The remastered episodes start airing on the 2nd on ABC Kids. Edited to add a to a promo.
  16. Yeah, your right. Also, I have only finished the second volume of 52, with the fallout of that massacre just happening, it just felt like that girl who died and was given a parade, they couldn't do that for these nobodys, I was just annoyed that they killed off my new favourite character immortal bald man in armour. He had so many layers, he could have had his own mini, but no they had to kill him. Also, I read volume 2 really quickly, like over a day, so for me, it felt like all the deaths were coming in quick succession. Also, Wonder Girl and the cult of Connor. Wouldn't it have been awesome if during Red Robin, when she goes to see Robin to convince him Bruce is dead, he just turns around and says "Really, they sent you to talk to me about getting over a fucking death!? " Yeah, to tell you the truth, having read 52 when it was coming out week to week and reading it in succession now, it's still a fantastic story but worked better in the weekly format where all the events had time to be set up, work in your mind and you had the most awesome cliffhanger hanging over your head at the end of 34, sitting there for a week, waiting for you to pick it up.
  17. I may have seen some pages from it and I'm still buying the book on Wednesday.

That may be true but when you give Dalek's hearts, they tend to start to get whiny and no one wants that. Let's say it's just there because The Master regenerated into Dorthy and he's mind-controlling it.
  19. First off, Like the Mad Hatter plot. Secondly, the deaths of the people who paid for the Everyman treatment in 52 aren't completely pointless. A large amount of them are there to tell you that just because you have Super-powers, you're not a superhero. Most Supers train to be ready, have a reason to fight crime instead of just wanting to do it. Look at Kingdom Come where the people fighting crime are as bad as the criminals themselves. The Everymen in 52 dieing is mainly because they thought they had powers now so they'll be just as effective as the ones who had stood in the crucible. It also serves the plot to reinforce that Checkmate is needed to keep an eye on the Super-Powered community.
