Now I'm envisioning something along the lines of World's Funniest. Mr. Mxyzptlk and The Impossible Man should show up together in a panel, try to leave and Ambush and Deadpool stop fighting for a second to say, "Aren't you supposed to be the same person?"

I really don't mind the Ewoks all that much. It may be cute for cute's sake but they aren't as bad as everyone says they are.

To tell you the truth, it's in character with Black Adam so I'll let it slide. Yes, a lot of the other violence is vaguely graphic but so are most action movies. While I may not love that, comics are mostly action and the violence serves the story. It isn't The Boys where half the violence is Garth Ennis getting his rocks off. That said, you're only at the halfway point. The beginning of the New Year's issue is a bit of a killer. Subtract Lobo and you're on. First page is Deadpool looking up saying, "Dear God, I'm in a crossover!" and Ambush Bug saying, "Why do I have the sneaking suspicion that I'm finally in a book that will sell?"

Ehh, Cloud's still a pussy.

To be fair, they gave the 1990's to Mariah Carrey also. I think they threw their credibility out the window then and there. I refuse to believe that the 90s and 00s were that desolate of an era where better musicians didn't come along.

Then I'm old also. Getting cooking supplies was the best part of the holiday for me also. I got some more Alpine touch in there which was the best part. Alpine Touch is a spice blend you can only get in Montana that goes great on anything.

One of my roomies bought me the collector's edition of Christmas Vacation for Christmas. There was a Santa hat in the package so I'm going to be wearing it for the next few hours.

Today and tomorrow are going to be when the majority of the Christmas Content will be on. You can count on that.

We just hung out for a little while, watched Full Metal Alchemist, had a discussion about the Justice League, and I got just kicked out because he had a separate booty call. I could feel bad but I spoiled it for him by pointing out that his Mom was going to be there at 9 in the morning. Ah, rain on people's parades.

Or a trap in a Saw movie. Or the beginning of "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure." I'm texting with a drunk friend who I think might be subtly hitting on me. And I have work at 8:30 in the morning with an hour walk before that. Why can't these things happen when I don't need sleep.

When I want to creep out a friend, I show that to a friend. If they still have the full use of their psychological centers, I whip out Rape Whistle Ronald.

But seriously, I only do gift cards with people that I have to get gifts for but don't care to know anything about. In other words, family. Makes me glad that I'll have the entire apartment to myself on Friday. Going to watch vaguely Christmas themed movies and maybe go see Sherlock Holmes or go insane and watch 24 hours of Christmas programming.
